New Tandoor Point — Restaurant in Pune

Visited this place thrice. On the first visit I thought we found a decent non veg restaurant with affordable price(which is something rare in Pune). Ordered a mutton dish and it didn't disappoint. On my second visit we ordered another mutton dish(mutton tawa). This time all the mutton pieces were 99% bones. The gravy was decent. On my third visit we told one of the waiters about the "bones more than meat" situation on our last visit. He said it was an accident and won't happen again. This time we ordered Mutton hyderabadi. We expected it to be spicy, a bit dry ,flavorful and having shades of red and brown. What we got was a GREEN dish. It was spinach and mutton!! I thought it had to be an accident. But it wasn't. The waiter assured us that PALAK MUTTON = MUTTON HYDERABADI !!!!! We were disappointed. The dish itself was VERY BLAND with almost no taste of palak and TINY pieces of mutton and fat.

Visited this place today, late in the evening. Food was good. Surprisingly the Tandoori chicken was spicy and not just red like most other places. Food was served fast very less waiting time. Food was good, little more spicy than any regular joint, but likes it. Having said this a lot of other things come to mind. The kitchen is open and looks considerably dirty. Plates were oily.
