Was going through my instagram feed the outer when information about Ottoman Eats popped in front of me. Been a lover of Shawarma and the reviews that I saw on google, zomato n insta. I thought to give it a try which I did the very next day.
What I ordered Ottoman Eats Special Shawarma - 170 Street Special Shawarma - 140 Virgin Mojito - 70 Total Cost - 380
Yes, I ordered two shawarma's all for myself.
Now coming to the taste and whether I liked it or not.
Ottoman Eats Special Shawarma for 170 what you get is a Shawarma wrapped in a soft Kuboos/Pita Bread ( softest I have had in Pune till date ) with egg, veggies, cheese and extra chicken. If I have to compare this to the Shawarma's that I have had in the past I would say it is at par but nothing over the top. Apart from juicyness of the shawarma and it been filling too for a person with average apetite.
Second I ordered was a Street Special Shawarma. So what is the difference between Ottoman Eats Special Shawarma and Street Special Shawarma as per me is leterally nothing in terms of the taste but only in terms of the stuffing and there is no egg in it. It's like going from Jumbo to Mini that's it.
Virgin Mojito my all time favourite mocktail to cool off a tad too sweet but still better then what I was expecting from the Shawarma's.
To put my overall experience to summary for all I was kinda disapointed by what I expected and what I got. This is my personal experience as per my taste buds and places I have eaten shawarma from in the past till.

Read moreOttomaneats have been a quite while on the list to try, indeed tried! One of the best shawarma in town. Normally we find cabbage in most of the shawarma but here there is a slight change. The fresh kuboos is stuffed with lettuce, a pinch of fries, tender chicken and juicy mayo. The staff and owner are quite friendly, very hospitable to guide you with the right choice. Service is fast and commendable. The shawarma is worth the cost you pay. Regular shawarma is quite a filing. The puneri shawarma is spiced, hot enough to handle. The mint shawarma has got enough of its mint flavour. Enjoy your shawarma...

Service is a bit slow but worth the wait. The shawarma is worth the cost you pay. Regular shawarma is quite a filing. The ottoman special shawarma is spicy, yet hot enough to handle. The cheesy fries are worth the try. But what makes all the difference is the basic chicken shawarma made of nothing but lettuce chicken and sauces and let me be honest it's the tastiest one they have ❤️
That's all for the day. Signing...
