It's the best buffet place I went in Pune.. I would really like to elaborate my experience here so that you can get an idea and you will approach the restaurant... It's located in karve nagar.. they have reserved space for 2wheeler parking but for 4 wheelers it's on your own.. Once you enter the hotel you will see a lady in her late 50s and a gentleman in his late 60s.. the lady asks you about the number of people and her colluege takes the note of it and provides you the bill. You have to pay the amount then only you will be allowed to move to restaurant area. Once the payment is done lady conveys the manager with number of people coming inside the restaurant. The manager takes you to the restaurant and gives you overview of the sequence of the food counters and the speciality of the counter. He finally shows you your table. Once you are settled down it's your choice to when to start your dinner/lunch. There is a soup and bhaji corner.. the soup was awesome and the bhaji made of gram daal were the most delicious bhajjis I ever had. I could not control myself to taste 3-4 bowls but thinking about the main course I have to stop myself.
While going for main course you need to submit the bill receipt and take your plate. The area near plate is full of salad, chutneys, pickels, papad.. you can choose whatever you want.. for main course there are two counters.. on your left you will see a Punjabi counter which serves the jeera rice, daal tadka, paneer gravy.. here daal n tadka were kept separate so that you can add the tadka as per your choice. The second counter is on your right that is maharashtrian counter which provides, phulaka, bhakari, puranpoli, pithala, a gravy veggie, buttermilk, kadhi.. when you think that plate is full n turn back you will see a mango juice( आमरस ) counter ( only in summer). You can't control to add another bowl to your plate..
After tasting this if you still have appetite then there is a dhapate/thalipith counter. I never got chance to visit this counter as my plate was filled with more items.😂.. once you are done with your eating you have to take the plate to the washing counter.. Near the exit you will see a self service plan stall where you can make your own paan n leave the restaurant with a smiling face..
This restaurant is must to visit when you are in Pune.. I loved the ambience of the place.. it really felt comfortable and charming.. will be...
