A Gastronomic Oasis: Yeti and the Monk, Viman Nagar
Tucked away in the bustling streets of Viman Nagar, Yeti and the Monk's newest outpost is a veritable treasure trove of flavors, transporting patrons on a culinary journey across the Himalayas. As devoted regulars of their Aundh branch, we were thrilled to experience the magic of their Viman Nagar location, and we were not disappointed.
From the moment we stepped inside, the warm, inviting ambiance and impeccable service set the tone for a truly exceptional dining experience. Our culinary adventure began with the Pulled Pork Bao, a masterful fusion of tender, slow-cooked pork, crunchy slaw, and soft, fluffy bao. Each bite was a harmonious balance of textures and flavors.
The Pork Dumplings were another standout, with delicate, pan-seared wrappers giving way to rich, savory fillings. Paired with a dipping sauce that added a subtle depth of flavor, these dumplings were nothing short of addictive.
We also indulged in the Chicken Thukpa, a hearty, comforting noodle soup that warmed the soul. The Summer Rolls, crispy and fresh, provided a delightful contrast in texture, while the Dan Dan Noodles offered a spicy kick that left us craving more.
Vegetarians will delight in the Veg Dumpling, a flavorful, expertly crafted creation that rivals its meaty counterparts.
In short, our maiden visit to Yeti and the Monk's Viman Nagar outpost was an unmitigated success. With its inventive, expertly prepared dishes, impeccable service, and cozy atmosphere, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit for food enthusiasts. We cannot recommend it...
Read moreAfter reading so many great reviews, we decided to go to The Yeti and the monk and it was the bestest decision. Food is super delicious, the warmth and love with which you are attended, is beyond words, Jagat served us and he had thorough knowledge on the Tibetan cuisine and the way the dishes need to be served, really impressed and kudos. We ordered yeti’s potion and gurash cooler for drinks, very refreshing. In snacks we went in for summer rolls and steam Darjeeling dumplings ( chicken) that was just wow and melts in your mouth. For the main course, it was Chicken thumpka, their servings were generous so one bowl was enough for two of us. Pudding was so yumm and was a perfect icing on cake; black rice pudding with jaggery and roasted almonds. Jagat suggested us all the dishes, making our visit to this place the most memorable one and an afternoon well spent. The washrooms are very neat in this restaurant. Ambiance is very simple, elegant and very clean. It serves fresh juices, with authentic and a magical twist of Tibetan , both veg and non veg and has ample parking on sides of road. So if you are looking for that refreshing meal this summer, light on tummy and with a yummilicious taste, must head here soon. Thank you to the team and staff at The Yeti & Monk, Vimannagar and special thanks to Jagat for being so patient in explaining us the importance of meal and making it enjoyable for us. Cheers till we...
