When eating coastal food one always begin with Kokum Tival or Solkadhi. Kokum is a pallet cleanser and a great start to experience a delightful gastronomical journey.
Would highly recommend all the 4 starters that I tasted :: #Surmai_Pallamunji : a red spicy tangy masala coated all over the fish, marinated and steamed. Its soft and falls of the bone. Healthy and absolutely lip smacking delicious.
#Surmai_Pedavan : a sandwich of two pieces. In Between is a layer of green chutney. The flavours of the green chutney is the star of this dish. You take a piece of the surmai sandwich, put it in your mouth to experience uniqueness .
#Pomfret_Naked_Fry : How to taste the freshness of fish? A Whole Pomfret is rubbed with minimal marination of salt and sour, steamed and lastly shallow fried. Taste is a delight.. Naked and perfect!
#Prawn_Thecha_Fry Green chillies Thecha marinated prawns, coated with rava and shallow fried. Crispy, crunchy and perfectly done. Superb starter.
#Bombil_Thecha_Fry (old favourite). It was soft, well spiced and absolutely amazing to taste.
Mains we had with rice and chapati. Nice soft chapati served hot.
#Chicken_Sukha : a delectable, moderate spicy, semi thick gravy. It was so good. #Prawn_Curry : a creamy flavour konkani curry that’s a signature of this place.
Portion size is substantial. Served with fresh cauliflower pickle, sukat , onions and malvani onion chutney are so tasty and unlimited. One can order above starters and eat it with chapati if you desire. Thali and A la carte options in mutton, chicken and Fish . Vegetarian menu also available.

Let's come on to the food which I tried here:
2)Solkadhi: This had perfect consistency with slight tangy flavour.
3)Pomfret pedavan: This was steamed fish tossed in a tomato based tangy chutney and was stuffed with mild and grainy green chutney, the fish was fresh and perfectly steamed and the flavours were balanced.
4)Bombil techa fry: This was crisp and soft bombil stuffed with spicy techa, the texture was on point and the spice of techa was balanced and not over powering.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
5)Prawns techa: This was soft and moist prawns tossed in techa, the prawns were too good and the flavours of techa were deeply infused in it.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
6)Surmai rawa fry: This was love, crispy and huge surmai with percent softness and freshness.
7)Bangda curry: This was reddish colour curry with bangda and was perfect in consistency and extremely flavourful.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
8)Prawns curry: This was mild flavored curry with prawns and came too good with rice and solkadhi, and tingled the tastebuds.
