Amrit Confectioners — Restaurant in Punjab

If there is an bad rating than 1 star will be very happy to give them. The guys who take wedding cake orders are hopeless. They are very unprofessional, uneducated, lack of knowledge of prices and very good in argument and fight. Guys if you have an other option to get the cake from someone else.. Go Go There.. But if you want to get unprofessional behaviour then gogo Amrit bakery. After a long argument with them I asked them pls tell me your name but they never told me there names.. At last the counter guys came and resolved the issue but the feeling to get the cake happily is just vanished. They both were cake section employees and Amrit bakery owners needs to trained them properly otherwise they will be history soon if customers like is leave them. I will never go to Amrit Bakery again. We are 15 years old customers of them but because of this incident I will never visit Amrit bakery again. Not supporting them with my Hard earned money. I enquire about cake price 1 guy said 1400 Rs for 1 kg. Then we been to Amrit 1st floor restaurant had breakfast for 16 people bill was like 2500Rs approx.. after finishing thought of ordering been bakery section again. The different guy said 1500Rs per kg.. I said is this a joke 30 mins ago it was 1400Rs. His reply was clear lie that this price was 4 yrs ago. Then he was not apologies he started...

Absolutely disgusting experience with Amrit Confectioners, Phase 5, Mohali. Bought a baked samosa today and found FUNGUS inside. Yes, actual fungus! This is completely unacceptable from a shop that claims to be “reputed” in the area.

People go to places like Amrit expecting hygiene and quality — not stale, spoiled food that can make someone seriously sick. It’s shocking that something like this made it to the shelf. Clearly no quality checks or basic hygiene are being followed.

This is a serious health hazard. I strongly advise everyone to open and check anything you buy from here before eating. Very disappointed — this is not just carelessness, it’s gross negligence.

Wouldn't recommend until they clean up their act...

This place is excellent for bakery items. We have been buying the same from them for the past more than 20 years and found quality always very good. Very recently they have added sweets like Ghevar, Burfi, Chhaina Murgi etc also. Prices are also quite expensive. 2-3 days back believing in their quality we purchased some sweets from them.

Quality was simply pathetic. Worse than even a small not so famous shop. To make it worse Ghevar tasted stale.

So, many a times diversifying into lines that are not your speciality can affect the image of your core business also. As this experience has left a very bitter taste in our mouth and has adversely affected the image we had created of Amrit Bakery...
