Wok N Tok — Restaurant in Punjab

This is a late review, but an appreciation & Thank you note to the restaurant. We picked this restaurant for Mom's Kitty Party and it turned out to be a delightful experience for her and her friends. The staff was courteous enough with these middle age - elderly ladies. The whole party of 10-15 members was budget friendly. Coming to the food. I would simply say my mom and her kitty girls found a new place to satisfy their Chinese food cravings. Thank you for serving the dessert( Ice-cream) in such a pretty way(At that time the place was not offering desserts on the menu). Flavors / Preparation: 10/10 Presentation: 10/10 Quality / Quantity: 9/10 Staff / Service: 10/10 Ambience: 8/10 Pocket Friendly: 8/10 Value for Money: 10/10

Today, 26th September at 08:51 PM, I placed an order of Veg Steamed Momos from Wok n Tok, Phase 5, Mohali (Swiggy)

After eating 3–4 pieces, I shockingly found a cockroach on the momos. I immediately called the restaurant, shared the images, and instead of taking responsibility, they just said “sorry” and disconnected the call.

This is absolutely unhygienic and unsafe for consumption. I am going to file a formal complaint with FSSAI, inform the local Swiggy service provider, and make sure such negligence is highlighted.

It’s extremely disappointing that Swiggy trusts and lists such restaurants without proper hygiene checks. I rate this experience 0/5.

Update: third order Yummy hakka noodle Yummy fried dimsum have to appreciate the quantity of red sweet and spicy chutney sent

Second order: Hakka meal : yummy best hakka noodle even better than kylin experience 🤣👍❤️ I'm hooked for Chinese... Although my bf prefers only kylin hopefully we can order more from here... Kudos to packing staff.. packs delivery safe and travel proof .... Management should appreciate their packers 💯💯💯🥰 it makes all the difference... Spilled food yet yummy is not yummy ... So they ensure it remains yummy ..
