It looked good from the outside and the youngsters were drawn to it. So we thought of giving it a try. Effort has been made to give the garden look to the place but to our dismay it's all plastic flowers, climbers, creepers etc. And a bit overpowering. Saying that about the look and moving on to food. Food is okay, not up to the mark for the price one pays. They do serve welcome drinks in test tubes. The serving staff is not courteous enough to ask whether we're done with the welcome drink. They just pick it up and take away Little caring about whether you've had/ want to have or not. Then they serve golgappas also as a welcome gesture. But forget to provide chutneys along. The chutneys arrive by the time golgappas are already eaten. The servers and the tableware are pathetic. The wooden chopping board acts as a server which is fine but it's made of wood that is not finished properly and has a lot of scratches and cracks. This again can be a health hazard if not cleaned properly. The tableware consists of melamine plates which again are not of fine quality. One look of them puts you off and takes away your appetite. Glassware and cutlery are fine, though not as per the other eateries if compared. The taste of food is ok, specifically non-vegetarian platter. It doesn't seem you're eating out chef cooked food. It's more of a newbie and a confused cook at that. The aesthetic sense is zero and there is none to guide you as for the serving size etc. The food is nowhere according to the price. Here again if you've ordered a side with a drink then the side would be served after a long time. They serve one thing to a person then they're lost. After sometime they'll serve the other person on the table then next and so on. Mocktails are again up to the mark. They don't taste similar like at other places which are good at these. Now moving on to the staff. They have a lot of staff. Some of the staff would be looking at you while you're eating. That's not a very comfortable feeling. Too much of hush hush talk among the staff. Their language is not polished and when they serve you they're not paying attention to the table.
To sum it up this place is not for family dinners and especially if you want to chat and enjoy while dining. The place is expensive as per the food and service. We went for dinner but had to leave midway owing to the above factors. Witnessed two more families leaving the same way as us and ended up having dinner at Brew Bros that justified the food and service for...
Read moreSo, arrived here at 3pm on Sunday, the place was overpacked. Not a big deal if seating was not so conjusted. They have literally tables attached and others can hear your chat and can look what you are eating. People are actually into each other's space. The seats used here are good. The restaurant was true to the theme of gardens and whole decoration was made accordingly and it's quite dark inside which makes you feel that you have transported to another world. They have a drinks counter inside on which they make some kind of drinks with smoke coming out and whole place filled with it as there's no ventilation system provided and it started feeling suffocated. The food was pretty average which you have tried before but dishes were really overpriced for that taste. Garlic bread was just plain basic, had better at streetfood vendors. Paneer in starter platter was tender and soft. No new or innovative dish is here to be tried. The service was literally the worst part. First the waiting is too long then the starter dishes arrived that too without sauces and chutneys which we had to ask for specifically and our soups were delivered held from the top of the bowl with hands of the steward. The cutlery were not properly given even after I asked for it specifically. Given the amount they are charging more sophisticated ambience and service was expected. More of a family dine in vibe here, not recommended for...
