Our recent dining experience at Gangour Restaurant left us utterly delighted and amazed. This restaurant truly stands out as a culinary paradise, and we cannot wait to share our exceptional experience.
From the moment we stepped inside, the warm and inviting ambiance set the perfect tone for our meal. The restaurant staff greeted us with genuine smiles and made us feel welcome and appreciated from the start. Their attentiveness and willingness to assist throughout our visit made us feel like valued guests.
Now, let's talk about the highlight of our visit – the food! We had the pleasure of savoring the iconic Rajasthani dishes, dal bati churma, and ker sangri, and we were blown away by their delectable flavors. The chef's expertise in preparing these traditional delicacies was evident in every bite. The dal bati churma had the perfect balance of spices, and the batis were delightfully soft and accompanied by the most heavenly churma. As for the ker sangri, it was a delightful explosion of flavors that left us wanting more. Each dish was a true masterpiece that showcased the culinary prowess of the restaurant.
Moreover, the portions were generous, and the presentation was top-notch. It was evident that the restaurant takes pride in delivering not only exceptional taste but also an appealing...

We were here for lunch today and my whole experience can be summed up in saying that they have no respect for Indians at all for some reason. The only thing that the server and the owner were interested in was attending to non-indians. I'd honestly give them a negative score if I could. From the moment we were seated in the restaurant, it was an actual task to hold our server's attention. He was busy explaining different kind of chillies to the other tables around us but had no time to even serve us water, which we had to ask for around thrice. If they're this incompetent with water, imagine the rest. Food was okay, we tried their bajra roti, gatte ki sabzi and churma. Churma was yum but not authentic. The server and owner kept pushing us to order the thali but we were on our way to the fort so didn't want something heavy like a thali. Infact, they were coaxing us so hard to get the thali at a point where it was plain annoying. Please understand the difference between selling food and being intrusive/annoying. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. PLENTY OF EATERIES IN THE AREA WHICH ARE MUCH BETTER.

Read moreVisited the restaurant for lunch on 13Feb 2020. There were few foreigners in the restaurant. The initial shock came when we asked for water and kept on waiting for 5mts when only the glasses were placed on the table. We had to request again for water. It was served exactly after 4 mts. Meanwhile, the person taking the orders was more interested in serving the foreigners but not the Indians in the restaurant. A Sikh couple on the next table also faced the same fate as ours. Total indifference. Food is okay but nothing to die for. The owners kept on pushing for the thali inspite of our order of bajra roti n gatte ki sabzi with churma laddoo. The total experience was one of indifference. I will not recommend this restaurant to anybody. It was the most humiliating experience where the restaurant is totally ignoring your presence. The fellow had lots of time to explain the dishes to the foreigners but no time for you. Really really bad experience. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anybody visiting...
