MAMA Roof Top Cafè — Restaurant in Rajasthan

We went for dinner as group of 4. It was very busy as night before Holi but service was very poor and we got our own drinks from the fridge after waiting half an hour, 45 minutes after ordering waiter returned to our table to say what we ordered wasnt available. Whole food order took over an hour and a half to come. We are pretty confident (though of course cant confirm) that as a group of foreign tourists our order was pushed back multiple times as groups of local tourists who arrived various time later after us had their food a long time before we got ours or our drinks (which included the same dishes as our order ). Staf quite dismissive and rude when asking about this or order update. They also told us large parts of the menu was off (mainly indian and rice) but then tables arriving after us were served these dishes. At best very disorganised place. Food when came was acceptable standard. Would avoid if possible and try much better spanish/pizza restaurant...

Place has excellent uninterrupted views over lake Pushkar so is a great place to watch the ghats and the beautiful sunset. The shakes are also very tasty (we tried banana and Nutella). The staff are friendly and all the food is made fresh so there is a bit of a wait but you can tell everything is fresh so I think that is worth it. The food is good, not excellent, but certainly good for the pricing.

All in all this is a place we can recommend for the excellent views and good, fairly priced food so worth a visit when in Pushkar.

Note: I knocked a star off for service as at one point there was quite a loud conversation lead by a staff member with other guests the contents of which I found quite prejudiced against certain beliefs and countries. Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinions but I don't think the setting was very...

Came for a pizza first night. It was ok but no spicy like I asked. I think maybe they got it from down the road because they have no pizza oven. The owner said come back to try Indian food. Came back it was the worst food I ever had in the whole country. No one who worked there even cared. The cups and tray were dirty! The food was from frozen and pre packaged. Nothing was fresh. Really disappointed. Nice view of the lake is all I can say but they take no pride in their work or restaurant. Many other places have just as nice a view so overall not a good...
