Read moreStorm of wonderful flavors ! This was another place highly recommended by locals & was it not worth it ! I& wife were tired after a long walk exploring the local residential architecture - house drawings and were only expecting food, to satisfy our hunger. Once we entered, the place was dim lit(not for candle light dinners, but more like, old time ventures). But, as soon as sat, we started to feel why it is one of the favorite among locals - the welcoming gesture & courtesy is as much in abundance as the unlimited thali they offer. We were not aware of how many dishes or breads are offered & at one point of time, we almost looked at each other in thinking to tell our kind attendant to stop filling our thaali ! But good thing is, we didnt & even they didnt :) Each dish had a unique flavor that was explicitly different from everything else we were served with. Talking to them, they told us that we were not being served the Marwadi-Gujrati dals that are sweeter in nature, which when tried was unusual for us, but good. Talking to the attendant, we understood the flavors. The experience was almost overwhelming not overwhelming because we were skeptical, if the storm of flavors are going to disrupt out digestion, but weren't we glad that we were wrong on our skepticism & thus we were...
Read moreFood was good but the hospitality was not. Today I, my 6 years old son, my 71 years old mother who is diabetic and bp patient and my sister were stucked in lift which was already out of order and we were guided to use it by their own staff and with God's grace we were rescued after the efforts taken by family member standing out of the lift as it carries only 4 persons at a time. We talked with the manager ,other staff members even we talked with the owner but there was no positive response from their side. We waited there for an hour had our lunch there only and even paid for it ....but felt they were not ready to take the responsibility. Our family members are visiting this place for 15 years but today we felt very bad because of such hospitality. We never expected such kind of attitude from such a good hotel. At the end we were not able to do anything as the staff dodged us so here we are writing this review so that such mishap do not occur with any other customer. No bad reviews for the food but for the...
