However, our dining experience took a turn for the worse as the food did not live up to our expectations. Despite the restaurant's high rating, we found the dishes to be a letdown.

It's possible that the restaurant's popularity is due to its popularity among foreigners, who may have different tastes and preferences. Additionally, the scenic view of Pushkar Lake could also be a contributing factor to its fame. Unfortunately, during the scorching summers, it is not feasible to sit outside and enjoy the view, which further limits the overall dining experience.

I am questioning the good reviews. It was such a bad experience. We ordered the Shahi Thali and it was by far the worst I’ve had in 6 months of India. I know it is off-season and it was around 5 PM. But this is not an excuse for bad food. The Dal was tasteless. The curry was bad, so sour. The rice they just took from the fridge on the terrace in front of us. For the chapati the used oils oil which was so rancid. I also had a Lime Juice, the glass was so dirty and there were particles (not lime) swimming in, so that I couldn’t drink it, later a look into kitchen just explained it enough. The manager offered us a new dish within 10 minutes, but I was done with this restaurant. Also service was horrible. The boys didn’t speak to us and requested to write down our dishes on paper. I can understand those teens with no desire to work, but I am paying for food and service. Atmosphere is nothing close to pictures, it was chaotic, dirty and dusty, the view is limited because they build 2 new buildings.
