Read moreWe stayed here as a couple for about 8 days last year and really liked it. It's far enough from the center of town that you get some peace, but is actually a really close walk to town. Maybe 6 mins walk. We were traveling India by motorcycle and they were kind enough to put our motorcycle in their small garage that is locked up all day. They did not charge us more for this which is was so lovely of them. There's a nice seating area on the very top floor that overlooks Pushkar. It is also where their restaurant is, but no staff were ever up there and we would have to walk down four flights of stairs just ask if someone could take our order. The food is ok, but if you get something here get a smoothie. They are yummy. TIP: If you want some amazing western food go to the famous pizza place in town. As for the rooms- they are simple with one colorful accent wall, and have a bathroom attached. There are no separated showers here, it's just a shower spicket. Basically, you turn the shower head on and everything in the bathroom is wet and at the end you mop the water on the floor into the corner that has a drain. So don't leave your toiletries bag or anything you don't want wet anywhere in the bathroom. There are rooms with AC and rooms with just a fan. We tried both. As we were there in April we opted for the AC- it was crazy hot. The staff are nice, but the owner who is an older man is not so friendly. There is a resident dog (black lab) who is super sweet and just lazes around... He's quite old. It was a totally safe place to stay and we would definitely stay here again. Lastly dont be afraid to go and find this place. It's up hill and through some narrow corridors before you find it. You'll feel lost, but your not. Follow the paintings on the walls advertising it. There will be arrows pointing which street to take. It's...
Read moreI stayed here for over 2 months and I feel like I can give a pretty honest review
I would definitely stay here again and recommend it. The hotel staff is very respectful and most of the rooms are pretty decent although some are definitely better than others
You don't get a lot of noise here which is nice. It's a good hotel for quiet people or couples. Amazon is pretty quick also.
The food at the restaurant isn't that good but there are a few dishes that I would recommend like the aloo gobi and the strong black coffee
If you're here in the summer the AC is pretty good.
Bunti is pretty much always there and sleeps next to the door but he will let you in regardless of what time of night you show up
There's lots of food nearby and you can walk to everything in town within 25 minutes
The hotel is built very solid and sound doesn't transfer
The beds are cozy and the bathroom is pretty nice. Super hot water and there are screens on the windows so you can get a fresh Breeze without bugs
Lots of monkeys so you need to be careful! They will sneak into your room
It has a backup battery is the Wi-Fi always stays on. The Wi-Fi is pretty strong if you are next to the router but other rooms are a little bit weak. But there is a big cell phone tower next door which you can get a strong cell phone reception
I really enjoyed my stay here and I would definitely stay...
