My review would be based out of total nostalgia. From the time the shop started somewhere 2000-2001, I was one of the first few customers. There was a poster that said Purani Dilli ke mashoor Chole Bhature. I was coming back from a night shift at ITC Maurya, and casually ventured to this place. The proprietor spoke about his antecedents from Old Delhi and how he buys the best of the masala and secret combination of spices that he supplies to the chef's. Let me share our (me & my elder brother) absolute wonder upon tasting this truly spectacular and delicious chole with paneer waale bhature. It was mind boggling despite being a thorough bred Delhiite. The chole were truly delicious and quite delectable!!! 5/5 for their quality then. Haven't tasted them offlate, hope to do that the moment...
Read moreThis place is really not worth your money. Very degraded quality of food. The bhature are tasteless and the quantity of chhole is also very very less. These people are clearly misusing the name they had earned in all these years. I do not recommend anyone to have food here! Please note that this comment is from a 20 year old regular customer of this shop and now I’ll not continue to visit this place. Compromising on the quality to the lowest level sometimes for cost cutting is never appreciable. Increased cost per plate will be accepted, but not the degraded quality of food. Multiple reminders and complains have also been given...

Its obvious they are selling it in an open area and you should expect little bit of dust, pollution and insects in it.
I will definitely not buy from any open area restaurants, I will be going to some enclosed restaurants like haldiram...
