Café Coffee Day — Restaurant in Siliguri

Extremely pathetic service. I was the second customer there. There was another person next to my table and he had been already served his tea.

I walked ,took my table and waited for atleast 6 mins before a well built gentleman places the menu.

I went through the entire and since I had just finished my lunch,wasn't actually much interested in the food but since it was a hot day,I wanted to have a really cold Iced tea. The simplest of the orders..

Waited for 15 mins,before walking up to the counter to placed the order. Not sure if that's the SOP of CCD,where once the menu is placed,the servers doesn't bother to attend the table to take the order.

At the counter met the same gentleman who had placed the menu. Being in the hospitality industry one should know how to smile but guess his hobby of going to the gym made his looks and behaviour like a bouncer and not quite accomodating for any customer. No matter how strong built you are one should know how to smile and speak to the customer. I'm myself a 6 footer with a decent built....but have the humbleness to smile at others...

This person asked me if I was interested in having any food which I refused as I was full. This dint quite go down well with him. I paid and came to my table.

The order took good 10 mins. The moment he served , I noticed it was a extremely pale coloured Iced tea with hardly 5-6 pcs of ice. Even while he was placing the drink,I asked him for ice.

Strange , I kept waiting for the ice but he was busy speaking to his friend who had come to visit him and kept avoiding eye contact..

I called out to another person who was all this time taking some inventory. Even after my repeated calls to seek attention failed,the customer close to my table had to call the person and show him,that I needed help.

The new server came, to whom I explained the situation. He took my drink away and after 5 mins replaced my drink,which this time was correct and yes even had a garnish, which was missing in the first drink.

I sat there for a good 15-20 mins. But no one even bothered to check on me,if things were fine.

Me myself being a hotelier was taken aback by this seriously pathetic attitude of the servers at CCD,Cosmos Mall, Siliguri. If one just needs a job ,pls don't join our industry which needs passion along with a positive attitude.

Hope the management would look into this. Ask your servers to be more polite and have an attitude which is approachable and not to behave as bouncers.

Day of...

I had a horrible experience here at CCD cosmos. I was appalled at the behaviour of the male staff working there. I sat down with my 10month old baby. I told the server i will order coffee and told my governess who was holding my baby to sit and quickly feed little cerelac to my baby . The cerelac was premixed and kept in a tiffin. I was adding warm water to it and then i was told by the server i cannot feed my baby in CCD.

As per the server according to CCD policy we are not allowed to feed our babies in their premises.

Which world are we living in is what i want to know from CCD &what horrendous and absolutely stupid policy is this. As per CCD then we, new moms cannot visit their cafe because most of us will bring our little baby and will be carrying food for them. Since we cant feed our baby its better we stay away from...

Had ordered a cold velvet coffee Being a coffee lover I know how coffee is generally served in cafes. Not too sweet, not too bitter. Sugar would be at our own risk. But here they literally served something that tasted like sugar syrup with a hint of coffee to justify the name of the drink. It was terrible. When I confronted the woman at the counter, she was rude and denied making a mistake and the least the she could do was offer a replacement or atleast make the same drink a little better to something that one can drink. But to my surprise she just went on ignoring us and doing her work on the computer which was highly unprofessional. Requesting you to take strict action as customers pay such huge amounts for not just good food but good service too. THIS WAS THE WORST. IMPOLITE, RUDE, IGNORANT AND NOT WILLING TO ACCEPT...
