Anchor Restaurant — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

We visited as a family to Anchor on 20Apr'25. Indeed we were one of the oldest customer to Anchor. And our most likely food is Biryani & Naan varieties. It's been more than 1 year since we visited and it should have been continued. Because the very first order of Chicken and mutton biryani taste has disappointed us . Then we further made a blunder of ordering Tandoori & choosy items. The worst case is we were just 4 customer inside the hotel and most of the cooks were staying in dining hall watching cricket match and playing games in mobile , including the waiter. While the cheque was on table ,I gave my opinion to the waiter and explained him that we were old customer and the taste has drastically changed. We expressed our disappointment for having paid ₹1500 for the food which we couldn't digest at all. Later we realised not only the taste but the management have changed. Please improve and retain your old customers. And they should be honest in accepting the truth that such a big restaurant doesn't have easy access to toilets.....

I recently visited Anchor restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by the atmosphere and outstanding service! The moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the warm and inviting decor. The dim lighting, comfortable seating, created a cozy ambiance perfect for a relaxing evening.

The staff, particularly our server were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Their recommendations were spot on, and the food arrived promptly.

The overall vibe was sophisticated yet approachable, making it an ideal spot for dates, gatherings, or simply unwinding after a long day. I highly recommend Anchor Restaurant.

Went to this restaurant after more than 12 years. Glad to see the food is pretty much the same. Sadly the interiors seem to be the sam as well. Would be better if the place was updated and cleaned better.

While the food was good, we had to ask for condiments instead of them being placed on the table by default. There was one of the staff sitting at a guest table and playing music on his phone really loud. The music in the place was already loud as well. We had to tell the wait staff to ask him to stop.

The parking arrangements are really bad. There is very little place for cars to park.
