Balle Balle — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I had visited Balle Balle restaurant for a family dinner with sister's family and my little three year old nephew. Situated in quaint localities of Saibaba colony, this place is easily reachable and had great ambience. The restaurant is lit with dim light and fairy lights, setting a good vibe.

We had visited on a weekend and was under the assumption that there'll be huge crowd. But the restaurant did have sufficient number of seatings and we didn't have to wait for the seating. There are chairs to rest for a while incase there was a waiting too

The food was good or probably average, nothing too yummy or special about it. We had tried naan - which was good and flaky, panner sabzi - we didn't like it much as it was quite bland and not spicy at all, baby corn manchurian - this was crispy and good enough and stuffed mushroom - this was the tastiest dish of all. Alongside, we had also ordered a lime mint mojito - it was a bit sugary for me.

The service was good, without longer wait times and the waiters were friendly.

My little nephew had a good time playing around mock trucks/lorries, rickshaw and a small aquarium beside eating food.

Overall, I would say decent or average...

Visited for a family dine together.

Tom Yam tasted like lemon and tomato water no visible lemon grass or did taste like thai.

Starters we ordered Murg Multani Kebab where the description read like chicken marinated in cheese, coriander roots, sandwood powder and cooked in tandoori wooow, it did sound like a fantasy dish and it looked good. But when tasted it just a tandoori chicken. Only thing that matched the description is the color. The same thing happened with all other starters.

In spite of this getting attention of a server is like you need to literally bang on them to have your order or you water refilled. After giving a long written feedback the server bumped into me to ask what was written in the sheet, he didn't even bother to read it.

Still few dish are worth a try like Balle Balle Special Chicken Sizzlers and falooda (Must try)

I have still rated high as its definitely VFM as it costed just 4500 for a group size of eight.

May be dishes would not have been disappointing if there was no description.

Latest review as of 21-Oct-2023: We have been there couple of times but this time it was really disappointing. Food quality was literally pathetic, they served chicken which was stored (old stock - you can figure out from the taste) and Briyani was like old rice (food) and it doesn't taste like fresh. I love Briyani and this is the first time I have wasted Briyani in the hotels. Briyani is worst. Don't ever try it and for sure you will regret it.

Only papad and Parata was good...Server was checking with me on the feedback but after telling the honest feedback he walked away without any response which forced me to speak to their manager but the response was not at all satisfactory. Bad experience from Balle Balle this time.

Though I was recommending this restuarant to my friends this time experience made me to take decision to not go to this place again.

Please try to keep your food quality intact and don't compromise on it. On the day of my visit I thought to even inform the food inspection team. Very...
