Chetinaad Courtyard — Hotel in West Zone

Highly recommended! For a 3 star hotel, I was pleasantly surprised! The room had an ideal size, was well equipped with all basic necessities like clean sheets, toiletries, drinks etc., and overall cleanliness was fair. Location is strategic near to shopping centres, and restaurants.

The hotel may be 3 star, but their service is definitely 5 star...or in fact 10 star! From my experience here, they've taken their tagline "Experience the finest aspects of hospitality" very seriously.

Imagine my horror when on my check-in day late at night, I was informed about a mistake in my booking (due to an Agoda system glitch), and had a reservation for 1 person instead of 2. Was so worried I'd had to scramble around finding another place or will be charged a huge amount to stay the night. BUT instead, the manager handled the situation exceptionally well and worked out a win-win situation for us. 😃

Further to that, at any point of time when we needed help with transport bookings, sightseeing info, food orders and literally anything at all, the staff were always ready to assist with a smile. Such a helpful, friendly and jovial bunch, I really felt at home here.

Firstly, the hotel is situated in a residential locality in Sai baba colony in Coimbatore and the place is calm and breezy with lots of parking space. It is hardly 1 km away from Coimbatore North Station. It is closer to Marudamalai temple (12 kms) as compared to Gandhipuram which is little far and crowded. Those who prefer to stay in a peaceful locality and away from the busy and noisy places can choose this hotel which is best for both family and official trip. This hotel is close to Geetha restaurant (200 metres) which is a Veg. restaurant for middle class people which provides quality food at a very reasonable price. (you will get mushroom biriyani for just Rs. 40 which is yummy and healthy). This hotel is also situated between both the branches of the famous restaurant Annapoorna in Coimbatore (300 metres). This hotel is also close to Avinashilingam University, Coimbatore, (300 metres).||||The room was spacious and clean and the price was reasonable for a standard room which was about Rs. 2000/-. The hotel have good amenities yet lacks professionalism in the service. The service people in the restaurant does not care well the people who come for complimentary breakfast. Most of the times Tea/Coffee served at the room is provided without sugar. No centralized hot water service for the bathroom. When the customer needs hot water he should switch on the water heater switch in the room. No intimation about this in the reception desk. Damaged fittings in the rooms are not fitted back, but they are kept in room. Restrooms are not always clean. The stray hair left in the bathrooms are not removed at all. Showers and flush handles are blocked with the salt and the customer needs to clean it before using them. AC, TV, lights, lift service are working fine.
