Chives fell far short of my expectations, especially as someone who loves authentic Thai cuisine.

Food: While it’s common for international cuisines in India to have a localized twist, the extent of “Indianization” here was excessive and took away the essence of Thai food. The Thai soup tasted more like rasam, with an overwhelming amount of cilantro—more than even a typical rasam would have! The fried vegetable rolls reminded me of a veg puff, and the rice and curry were indistinguishable from an Indian curry. To top it off, the hot sauce I requested tasted exactly like pickle, and the fried rice was bland and completely unappetizing. Overall, the meal lacked the distinct flavors that make Thai cuisine so special.

Service: The service was good, with attentive staff who were polite and accommodating.

Ambience: The ambience was pleasant, offering a comfortable and relaxing setting.

We recently visited Chives Neelam Foods in KK Nagar on a lovely evening.

The ambiance was great - peaceful and uncrowded. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, even giving a balloon to my toddler to make her feel comfortable. They took good care of my baby while we were having food.

We ordered the Tossed Chilli Broccoli and soup as starters. The broccoli was deliciously spicy, but be sure to mention if you prefer medium spice level while ordering. The quantity was generous, and we couldn't finish it between the two of us. Unfortunately, the monton soup was too salty for my taste.

The fried rice was mild and enjoyable, even for my toddler. We had ordered it medium spicy, but it was still quite mild, possibly because we had requested less salt and spice.

It's worth noting that Jain food options are available, and they have a party/family room for larger groups. If you show your previous bill within 30 days, you can get a 10% discount. Parking is available for both bikes and cars.

Price is a bit expensive but...

Best in class. Delicious. I ordered Shanghai soup-So tasty but quantity is so little. Even roadside shops are giving the same quantity for 25₹. Here its 299/- Don't expect to share with your gf . One person only can enjoy.

And Thai Veg curry - 👌similar to our meals- White rice + that Thai kulambu. Taste is Yummy 😘but if u hear the price... U will shout as 'Mummy..!'😳... 😂😂528/-₹ i think.

U cannot find anything below 300/- Best place for a date😉to show off. But cannot bring her often. Break up instead 😉to save your pocket. Service- 5 guys will be waiting at your service but don't care to bring water for you. When i visited, myself and a couple are the only guests.
