Service: Visited the restaurant around 1PM. Chose A/C floor. The serving guy doesn't know how to talk with customers and how much tone to raise. He cared like eat or go away. He should first start his job from the road side cart and learn the basics on how to interact with humans. I'm not asking him to beg for my reply but at least ask and reply properly. There is no minus rating option in Google or I would have rated it. Google should add that.
Food: I had non-veg meals. They served a large bowl of rice with a very small palm sized bowl to serve the chicken kolambu, rasam, curd. The bowl was the same size as the choppu saaman thing children used to play. This dish came with chicken side dish, chicken 65, Keera kootu, paruppu kootu, brinjal kootu with papad. Mostly veg was there. For the price its fine. But chicken kolambu is not in the right quantity. I asked for a chicken kolambu (no piece) refill and they refused it. I had to fight and get it. The reason is even with kolambu, rasam and curd I wasn't able to complete the rice bowl. Am I supposed to adjust? Is that the reason I had to come all the way to a restaurant? Really? Restaurant owner must be a great fan of plain rice. Side dishes like kongu chicken uppu curry, prawn milagu varuval was good. Japan chicken curry tasted like mayonnaise and knorr soup cross breed. Biryani was good.
Ambience: AC with 22 degree felt like non-AC. Seating was good though.
Overall: Complete mood off. Try better restaurants. If you really enjoyed or you see other better reviews then they were lucky and had better service. As I came with family of 12 people around 1PM in scorching heat, I couldn't move out of the immediately.
Moral of the story: If something bad happened initially please don't hesitate to move out of that place even though you come with a family of...
Read more5 of us went for lunch during Sunday. The place was not crowded. But there was no one available to take the orders. We could see the waiters just roaming around the restaurant without interacting with any customers. After 20 minutes of waiting, our orders were taken. We waited for another 1 hour but no food was served to us: No soups, No starters, No main dishes. This was the same case for few other tables. After lot of demand, we were provided with a COLD Veg Meals ALONE that we ordered. Elders and a toddler had that only VEG meals, we cancelled other orders, paid 129 Rs only for the Veg Meals that we had and left the hotel. There were no explanation provided from the management regardinf the delay nor they tried to speed up the order. Rather the management was very happy that they were relieved of providing food to the customers. I am giving 2 Stars only for the meagre cold meals that aas provided after 1.5 hours
Zero Star for Service. Zero Star for Ambience. Zero Star for the management.
It is better to avoid this hotel until the management hires more competent staffs to run the hotel in a more satisfactory way to...
Read moreWe took away from this restaurant last Sunday. Every food was too spicy. Had to go on an empty stomach to bed. I really wish the chef/owner knows how a soup tastes. It was a plain diluted curry, with heaps of chilly powder. The banana leaf parotta was spicy too and couldn't have more than 2 spoons due to the spiciness. The bbq chicken was sweet on the other hand. Had no time to review but was really frustrated with the restaurant as they should never do this to someone. If I had time, I would have definitely went back to the restaurant and asked the owner and chef to taste the food
