Food Engine — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Spoiled my Saturday night....bit lengthy one, pls have patience.Worst customer service, i have ordered a chicken manchurian gravy over phone and i was asked to come and pick up by 10 mins. i went after 25 mins and they never noted or billed (not sure why they are taking orders over phone), Tall Person at the cash counter brilliantly handled that its not billed but preparation is going on. Took the cash Rs214 and asked to reach the kitchen in truck. After i went there they have put a KOT and preparation started. I said to him, we dont like to wait thatsy we order thru phone and come. But there was no apology and he replied coolly its saturday as if they provide free meals on saturday. It doesnt end there. The guy who checks KOT and informs the cooks in truck said to prepare chicken manchurian, i was standing there watching all these. So i went back to him and said i have ordered manchurian gravy not dry. he assured that they are preparing gravy only. After i recieved my takeaway, i checked there itself and no doubt it was not gravy. So i went to cash counter again to the tall guy and complained. He asked me to inform at the truck as his duty ends once he recieves money. he dont even want to listen, i went to the truck and again asked this is not what i ordered. Then the one who handles orders is SO BRILLIANT that he thinks all customers are dumb fools and he said its gravy only. I have been ordering this dish right from the days this restaurant started, but he firmly denied that its gravy as i'm blind. Pls check the pic and let me know whether its gravy even management...

I have ordered Butter naan and Garlic naan here,that was the most pathetic naan I ever had,It wasnt havent the softness and consistency that a naan should have. It's so hard and bulgy. I felt like why have I ordered naan here. I don't how this place is pulling crowd with such a pathetic food. The food was once good but now since the crowd starts to come here, the taste has gone really bad. Butter naan costs 79 and garlic naan costs 99,which is not even a single penny worth of it.Especially garlic naan,they just sprinkled a little bit of garlic for namesake and charges this much. Even a normal parotta shop sells better parotta than here.I would rather go for normal parotta shop than to have naan here.

Speaking of ambience,they have set up one of kitchen on the road side and even when I crossed the shop the masala and the chilli which they use for cooking sprinkled over my eyes since they kept the exhaust fan over to the road side.They should have a common civic sense as not to place it facing the road side.Many times I have faced this and I have even told the owner to change it some time back but he never cared about it it seems,still it's on the side.I wouldn't have brought this issue here,but after a worst food experience and the over costly food,I felt like sharing this.

Never ever go to this restaurant unless u want waste some money which is...

Street Food culture coming to our Beloved Nellai.. tried this place and liked it, ambience is very nice for rainy evenings, loved the neon lights which brings out the child in you and nostalgia runs deep, Food was Good, the One that Stood out was SHAWARMA - Loved it .

Although there was a small puddle of rainwater on the side of the truck which I hope doesn't bring any diseases. restroom could have been a little cleaner

I have some suggestions though !!!

Along with the age old routine of burger, fries, shawarma, and drinks Give something SIGNATURE that's only available on your shop - which will make customers come back to your shop..

for me thing which attracted to your shop was street food culture in Nellai - i tried it liked it but its routine - not ecstatic

i sincerely hope this shop improves and more improvements for Nellai follows.....
