Geetha Cafe — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

After a boring hungry day in office my colleague started to tempt me by 2 that we gonna land up today evening for tasting the city's best Chilli idly! And then me being a super Day-dreamer my post 2 session was full of fried idly and hunger. And we were like waiting for the clocks to strike 6 and buzzed straight to Geetha cafe . My Colleague being a fantastic biker we were there within 5 minutes from my place(Express avenue). And then the ambience was not all that fancy like other city restaurants and I wasn't expecting it too because I was warned by my colleague that the restaurant is like decades old. It is aptly visible from the roadside and the inside view seemed to be just a narrow and slim place but adequately arranged seating. I was feeling very uncomfortable to sit because of their huge table specially designed long back for their big meals plate. And then before even the waiter could give me the menu card I was like " Anna two plate Chilli idly!!!!!!!" And the look on his face gave me a mini panic attack , he told we dont have anything like chili idly and Madhu rescued me by ordering the dish in the right name Its the"FRIED IDLY"here. I was wondering about the preparation and service. and finally our dinner arrives in a couple of minutes and as soon it arrived I could smell the wonderful preparation. Hands on, the food was delicious and extra-ordinary than what one could expect from a small restaurant. Loved every bit of the food which was served with thick raitha and the polite staffs over there makes sure you don't miss out on anything. Nothing to complain here. Nothing complain about the foods.

Doesn't seems to have proper pricing for the foods they provide.

I had ordered a parotta set which is (set of 2) which had costed me around ₹:75/-

Which is utterly worst, the hotel doesn't seems to be that Royal for the pricing.

Luxury hotels with AC charge you ₹:90 - 120 depending upon the location.

The atmosphere is so simple,but they cost you so much for the food that you order.

If any food department people looking at this review kindly check those pricing... A humble...

I will give zero stars if possible. We went for coffee as it is mentioned coffee center though coffee is not bad the price is so high. Two coffee is almost 54 rupees with GST. A plate of ponda ( methu Vada basically in ponda shape) contains only 2 with medium size is 41 rupees. That coffee center not fancy or anything.
