Went looking for non vegetarian food and especially mutton dishes. Wasn't disappointed with the hotel.
It was empty when we landed at about 2140 on a Sunday night.
The service was quick and the staff helpful.
We tried the mutton biryani which was tasty. We also tried the mutton sukka along with mutton nalli, both of which were tasty. The portions were okay and were sufficient for three of us. We also tried the malabar porotta which was soft and fluffy. They aisi give you some kind of gravy and raita which when added to the porotta and biriyani made it even more tasty.
There's parking behind the restaurant and you should follow the sign for parking prior to the hotel, to get into it.
The wash area was okay. Did not try their toilet though.
A good joint for non vegetarian fare...

Read moreJunior kuppanna - is the name of hotel in coimbatore located very close to avinash Road. My friend and colleague suggested and took me there for lunch. Its a traditional South Indian to describe and I am very much impressed with the ambience and service deserves a special mention. Truly service is extremely good. Both veg and non veg menu available but seemingly it is well known and popular for nonveg, I guess. It's somewhat hard task to grab a table during prime dine time. Food is tasty and to my surprise, not costly. No harm in giving a try if someone wants to know what truly a sound Indian meal taste like. I recommend it strongly. Just give try. I'm sure...
