I recently had the privilege of visiting the Sri Ashtamsa Varadha Anjaneyar Temple, and I must say it was a truly remarkable experience. Nestled in the heart of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, this majestic Hindu temple exceeded all my expectations and left me in awe.

The temple's grandeur is evident from the moment you approach its ornate entrance. The intricate architecture, adorned with vibrant colors and delicate carvings, creates an atmosphere of divine beauty. The attention to detail in every aspect of the temple is truly commendable.

Stepping inside, I was greeted by a serene ambience that instantly instilled a sense of peace and tranquility within me. The temple's immaculately maintained premises and lush gardens add to its overall charm. It's a place where one can escape the hustle and bustle of the city and find solace in the embrace of spirituality. One aspect that impressed me the most was the temple's commitment to cleanliness. Despite being a popular tourist destination, the temple premises were spotless, reflecting the dedication and meticulousness of the staff and volunteers.

The Sri Ashtamsa Varadha Anjaneyar Temple is not only a holy place for devotees but also a cultural gem of Coimbatore. It serves as a center for religious and spiritual activities, hosting various festivals and events throughout the year. Attending these celebrations allows visitors to immerse themselves in the rich traditions and customs of the region.

Overall, I highly recommend a visit to the Sri Ashtamsa Varadha Anjaneyar Temple. Whether you are a devout follower or someone seeking a moment of introspection, this temple offers an experience that is both enriching and enlightening. Prepare to be amazed by its grandeur, captivated by its serenity, and inspired by its profound...

In the temple, Goddess Lakshmi graces the devotees from the right palm of Hanuman who tail faces North, direction of Kubera, God of wealth. The main deity faces west, is seen posing Abhaya Mudra with his right hand and holding a club with the other hand.

During the Tamil New Year, an offering of 10,008 fruits is made to the deity. Raja Maruthi Alankaram, Vennai Alankaram and Vadamalai offerings are the regular Sevas here on Saturdays. In the Tamil month of Purattasi, Vadai Malai, Swaya Roopam, Chenduram, Swarnamayam and Muthangi Sevai are offered to God on Saturdays.

Lord Hanuman, is decorated in different alankaram each day, which makes this temple special. So don't be surprised to see Lord Hanuman gracing you in his various alankaram during your routine visit.

Since everyday Lord Hanuman graces devotees with different alankaram, one can visit the temple any day. Still there special days.

Every Saturday, Tamil month of Purattasi, which starts from mid-September to mid-October of the Gregorian calendar Hanuman Jayanti these are the days which is celebrated as very special day in this temple.

Overall one of the most important and notable temple in Coimbatore. A must visit temple...

Hanuman here looks so good and beautiful. But I just want to tell one thing these people are looting money in name of donation and offering . I have stayed in nanganallur and they get 500rs for vadamalai and for full length is 10000rs . But these ppl charge 3000 with 2 prasadam . No one ask full box of prasadam . It is very spicy too as no one can eat it . The person here to whom I paid he behaved very badly while paying money . I asked I want to do vadamalai for 2k rs he wrote on himself for 5k saying can’t u pay extra later with argument 3k he got from me . He was bitting his head while writing my name for vadamalai as I argued for 1k extra money . I am really shocked . Does Hanuman became very costly or this temple authority lotting money. I request ppl to see nanganallur Hanuman temple and how they behave . A normal middle class ppl can’t offer anything to this temple . This is for VIP only. I request government and the Hanuman itself to teach them a lesson for cheating ppl money in name...

Hanuman temple which gives you a lot of positive energy and peace of mind, a must visit temple ! The Alankarams done here wil leave you breathless ā¤ The pooja performed here always has a standard procedure and is called as "Sodaja Upachara" which is a delight to watch and it takes nearly 40 to 50 mins for the pooja which followed by a darshan ! The place is crowded during Thursdays and Saturdays as these are the apt days to worship hanuman ! Also the place is extremely crowded during special occasions like hanuman jeyanthi, pongal, diwali, ram navami, vishu, etc,. Parking is another big deal here ! It is recommended not to bring your cars during any festive days coz you will obviously get struck in the traffic ! There is also a parking facility available during the festive days in Suguna Auditorium which is located near the temple !

Peelamedu's Hanuman temple has tremendous fame. I visit here all weeks mostly. On all the important days, the priest here creates beautiful decorations featuring Hanuman. They produce different adorns every week, and the fruit Alankaram (adorn) is extremely wonderful. The priest shares a fascinating talk about Lord Hanuman. It's going to be a divine encounter. There is a decent amount of parking, but not enough during the busiest times of the year. One thing to note is that, while everyone comes there seeking the blessings of Lord Hanuman, they only give out the packaged lords bindi to those who donate money and thatĀ should be avoided. Blessings of Hanuman to all of you.

This temple is one of the very few temples in Covai, where the priests are very dedicated and the pujas are performed strictly according to the agamas. This creates a very powerful space where one can feel the presence of Anjaneyar quite strongly! 1. Saturday and Sunday - Hanuman in Raja alankaram 2. Daily Evening puja - Sayaratchai - @7pm - a special one 3. Every month on moola nakshathram - special abhishekam @10am - must attend 4. Special alankarams on festival days like Hanuman Jayanti, Tamil puthandu, Thai pongal, Deepavali, etc Come and be drenched by the grace of Hanuman. Jai Anjaneya!
