Shree Aksshayam — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Horrible experience, ruined my day! Don’t go to Shree Akshaayam restaurant if you want a better mental health.

I visited this restaurant with my family after going to the temple as we wanted to have a nice Indian breakfast together. I have been living in Ireland for the past two years and was really looking forward to this. We were served food on banana leaf and everything was fine until my sister who is diabetic started eating boiled eggs that she had brought from home as part of her diet meal. She did not order from the restaurant because of her health condition and we did not think it would cause a problem as the rest of us ordered food including my parents and my four year old niece.

Suddenly a man in his late forties with a bald head and spectacles came out of nowhere and started shouting at my sister in front of all the staff and customers. He screamed saying this is a vegetarian hotel and you should not bring home food here. Instead of speaking politely and handling the situation with respect he chose to humiliate us in public and turned us into a spectacle for everyone to stare at. My old age parents were shocked and panicked and immediately apologized even though there was no need for such harsh treatment. The man kept shouting with no regard for basic manners. My sister calmly told him that we may have made a mistake but there is always a better way to speak to customers. After she said this he screamed and walked away without any regrets. We left the restaurant feeling disheartened and disrespected.

This is not how any customer should be treated. There is a way to explain rules without harassment and intimidation. The man’s behaviour was rude arrogant and completely unprofessional. Our entire day was spoiled because of this terrible experience and I would never recommend this place to anyone who values respect and dignity.

To all the egg lovers, this is not our place of visit, take a U-Turn!!!!!

Worst experience with the order taker and the server... went in by 10 for food and ordered two chola poori and asked for lime soda immediate reply from the order taker was no lime soda and wife told she saw when entering the person taking lime soda and asked him to enquire abt it he went and returned saying there is lime soda so we ordered two of it. After finishing food we wanted to order more food and asked the server what else is there and he said they don't have any food and by 10.30 they close and we thought we must be late so didn't want to trouble them. The bill timing was 10:16 pm and after we got up we saw bunch of people coming and the same server went to them and asking what they want and repeating what and all they have. So we thought we will get sweet and ordered jam jam and after that asked for it. We ate and asked for bill and that time the order taker and server both were arguing how much for the sweet and the server was saying 20 per piece and the order taker said 25 per piece and asked the server to get a bill for Rs 50. After paying the bill and tips we went to the cash counter and asked what is the price of the sweet and the cashier said it is 20 per piece I asked him showing the bill why I got this 50 rupees bill and he was speechless he immediately called the server and he said the order taker told him to get this bill and when they called the order taker he was not coming and moving around later when he came he had no answer for what he has done. My request if you don't teach your staff the service soon many negative reviews will be posted by many. We pay to eat and food is not served free and we also expect some respect and not treat like this and trying to cheat...

Quality Food, Spacious Dining Area, Courteous Staff.

I have been to many places to eat my meals, this interested me much to write a review about.

Staff members were good and serve your food as you requested! You might be wondering how come I have tried all these items at once!? 😊 I visited Akshayam thrice in 2 consecutive days, first day - Uthappam- So good, the Anna served it as I liked ( Without oil and extra bowl of Green Chutney), Second day Morning- One Dosa, One Medhu Vadai, One Water Melon Juice, Evening Snack- A Big mug of Bhadam Milk and Bhel Puri.

Usually when I request for oil free food, I was not given one as I requested, here they on Dot. I got my food served by the same anna both days, in Chat counter you would meet a charming uncle and the billing Person in Tea/ snacks counter - you would see a responsible lady who could answer you with “RESPECT” even in rush hours.

And there is the important thing, Hand wash and rest room- Clean 😊 I visited the place thrice in 2 days and Un time, I have noticed they are washing the rest room thrice or more than that!

If you have a work near Nava India Signal, Don’t Miss to have your meal here, its just a few mins walk from The Bus stop.

I am sure you would be given a Quality food...
