Hotel Junior Kuppanna — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

We a team of 10 people went on 01.07.2024 for dinner. Food was worst to the core. No soups at night. They say only complimentary soups at afternoon. No varities. Only chicken and aatukaal soup. Starterals we had Chinthamani, chukka, Chicken anda fry, leg piece fry, peri peri chicken. All the starters were not even good and tasty. Everything tasted blunt. No Salt nothing. Leg piece it is mentioned as fry, but after serving they are saying as tawa fry. Kaadai fry is similar like a bajji taste. Main course mutton biriyani only was available. That is not mutton biriyani it is ghee biriyani. Ghee taste to the core. My colleagues have tried veg fried rice and that was also full of ghee. I dont know who puts that much ghee in fried rice. Veg items were also not good(As per my colleagues review). Naan was not even cooked and FLOUR was literally fallimg down. Chicken and mutton kari dosa were like bread omelete and tastes BADDDDD. I have visited this restaurant along with my family on 23-07-2022 (Lunch). I have ordered Chicken Biriyani, Meals, Mutton chukka, Chicken pallipalayam, Chicken 65.

All the dishes were extremely spicy. It was like a hardcore Andhra dishes. When I enquired this, with the branch manager, he replied "Sir!! This is chettinaad dish. It will be spicy like this."

I was really shocked to hear this from the branch manager. My ancestors are from Madurai and karaikudi. I am used to chettinaad food, Also I am working in an IT sector in OMR-Chennai. We used to visit "Junior Kuppanna" there. There it won't be this spicy.

The next day, I really had an adverse side effects, Almost admitted in hospital because of burning sensation in entire digestive track.

This is the most useless place ever. We went there around 9:30pm to enquire about the food and get parcels. The waiter was so mean and responded very rudely to our questions. We do not want to divulge his name but he was acting as if he did not want us to be there. When we agreed and tried to adjust, he refused to pack our dosas separately (as we were in separate groups). We got the manger and told him everything. Needless to say, he got a good scolding. The manager then said he would get everything for us but we left. We couldn't tell what these people would do because we fought with them. There have been incidences of them spitting in the food, etc. because they fought with the customers.
