I had visited this hotel for the first time and this hotel has given me a worst experience. The above-mentioned Bill says it all.

This hotel has a habit of dual pricing. They charge heavy for outstation customers and comparatively low cost price Bill for the local customers. A copy of the local customer bill not available at the moment.

The main issue is the taste of all these items. We had ordered two meals and two chicken biriyanis and one mutton sukka and a natukozhi pichu potta pepper fry and the quantity.

The charge of biriyani is of a half plate wherein they give a quater plate biriyani of seeraga samba rice biriyani with very little of chicken.

Meals was horrible.. the smokey flavoured chicken kolambu and mutton kulambu had not no flavour except the smell of smoke. It was near tasteless.

Chicken and Mutton dishes ordered has nothing except a load full of curry leaves and pepper powder coated. That's all nothing more about it at all. Very few pieces of meat which could almost be easily counted. Chennai hotels provide a better quantity and taste.

On the whole my experience with this hotel is horrible. I also request our members to be careful with these kind of hotels who deceive the public. I don't mind spending but I should have the best out of it.

Moreover the service was not upto the mark. The hotel is not clean and it takes long time for them to serve the order.

My friend visited me from Chenai and I took him here and said him that this is the best place for Non-Veg in town, but didn't expect that to be the worst experience of my life in Mangalavilas, I have had bitter experiences with them before such as they won't serve you if you don't buy side dishes, but this time it was much worse that made me to stay away from this place forever. OK first things first, the staff behaviour is very rude and they take orders while walking around and will definitely serve you what your next table diner ordered(happened more than 4 times for me) and this time the gravy that they served was very burnt and I asked for another gravy and that was burnt too and the next one was also burnt, I requested the staff about this and he was not responding to me and just kept serving others and when I informed about this incident to the person at the cash counter, he didn't even give a word towards this issue and Gave us the bill, which I paid as I don't want to have a quarrel with them. I humbly request you to visit any other hotel in Salem but I personally will never ever suggest you to go to this place. There are lot of places in Salem which serves best food than these guys and also very friendly with their customers and also very keenly listen to customer's issues and rectifies them in a jiffy. This place might have a name and fame but that won't last if they doesn't respect...

This restaurant is at a walking distance from Salem new bus stand. It is better to go here by walking as it will be difficult to get a parking space in front of this restaurant. The name of this restaurant now is Rajaganapathy. Went for dinner at 8 pm and I was the only customer here till i left after having food. Ordered Mutton kadamba, parotta, dosa and a panner goli soda. All the food ordered was good and it was not spicy. Quantity for the rate of Mutton kadamba seems less but it is sufficient for a person. When ordering Mutton kadamba we have to say we want it dry or in semi gravy. I asked for semi gravy . Ambience is old world charm . Parotta and dosa was made only when i ordered and was served hot. A decent place to have food near Salem new bus stand. There is no GST here and the price mentioned on the menu is final.
