Fell in love with Meraki Cafe 😍 and it’s food! The cafe is tucked away is a quiet street in Neelankarai and is away from the main road (Google maps is your saviour).

Every corner of the cafe is so vibrant and colourful and is tastefully decorated. It’s just picture perfect! There’s something about this place that’s so welcoming and warm.

They also have Sushi in a box in the same compound and you get to order sushi’s even when you dine at Meraki. They have an outdoor seating which is a blessing due to the Covid situation! They also have a private room which can fit upto 20 members for a sit down meal.

I loved the chicken and mushroom burger, the fiery Peri Peri chicken pizza, prawn fried rice and prawn in hot garlic sauce, natu Kozhi ghee roast, limbhu jhinga (grilled prawn), and Mexican grilled fish! I am a fan of the prawn tempura maki roll which we ordered from Sushi in a box’s menu.

Price for two - ₹1500 (approx)

The only disadvantage for those who live in the center of the city is that you have to travel all the way to Neelankarai, in the city traffic (guess you can avoid the traffic during day time). But it’s...

This one is very closer to my house (walkable) and we planned to go there many times but was not possible due to some reasons at times, finally we got time and went there (as usual unplanned worked better)..

Ordered 2 desserts(they only had 3 desserts available in their menu) and one "Beef steak" (actually we didn't plan for that, ordered because I was surprised to see it in the Menu so I went for it) trust me it's one of the best one I had in Chennai so far(maybe some other places are there but yet to be tried, please do suggest as reply so I would try them :-)..).

Desserts were also top notch and we enjoyed it.

Spent nice time with my daughter, and she enjoyed her french fries, steak and then few clicks of pics.

Cons: There is always a place for improvement, isn't it.? though the ambience is good, downside of having open seating is having too much of mosquitoes (went there with shorts so i was a nice dessert for them ;-) ), and water leak from the roof ( I can understand it was a temporary issue but still this can be fixed)

Overall worth for your valuable TIME and Money.

Enjoy your...

The place was a surreal experience. We went on a Wednesday afternoon. The cafe was empty and we had a cozy experience. The cafe was lush green with plants and a lawn. We ordered Chicken Harissa kunafe, Three cheese veg Lasagna, Chicken Al A fricassee, hot chocolate and Shirley temple. I loved the outer crispy texture and the soft chicken and cheese stuffings inside the chicken harissa kunafa. It had a buttery flavour to it. And the dip was too good and went well with the dish that I stole the dip for other dishes too. The three cheese veg Lasagna was pretty decent and it was cheesy. The Chicken Al A fricassee was literally heaven and the sauce was creamy and drool worthy. It was served along with grilled veggies. The hot chocolate was nothing special. The Shirley temple was too good and it was a refreshing pick. The price is pretty expensive but the food items were worth the price except for the hot chocolate. Do visit this place if you're up for a romantic date or even a hangout with your friends. And don't forget to click some cool pictures and thank me...
