Pizza Hut | East Tambaram, Chennai — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Never seen such a worst pizza outlet in my life time. I have made pizza but hats off to the person who made pizza in this outlet. Please train your chefs to make real pizzas with Cheese with not not in the name of cheese I means sauce which is just a mixture of milk, flour and butter.

Ordered 4 personal pizza through zomato 2 said back received just 3. Raised complaint on zomato. Till my complaint is solved thought to have pizza - my god pizza without cheese seeing for the first time. Not even one percent of cheese. Just a cream to cover the pizza for the show off.

Called the resturant through zomato very good the number went to erode outlet.

After eating in the internet got the number and called them. Asked about the issue. The guy who spoke to me told that's his mistake and I need to raise complaint in zomato for refund. I asked him whether zomato mistake and infact asked him to make refund as they cheated on the name of pizza. He said I will receive my refund immediately. But I didn't. Got all the video proofs of the pizza which they packed and gave.

The person said his manager would contact me. But no response warped for a day. I again sent a message. At last got a call from manager. He started justifying that personal pizza will contain only cheese sauce. He was rude as well. He said only we put white sauce in personal pizza not cheese. I asked him why u didn't mention in zomato menu. He doesn't have answer for it I don't know whether u guys know cheese sauce is nothing but milk, flour and butter with small amount of cheese in it. That too he said cheese sauce but I could see just is a white sauce no cheese infact.

Guys be careful before ordering personal pizza which contains only white sauce not cheese. Please don't order on pizza hut and spoil your health. ...

I came for a quick dine in with my children at this place. I came and took the menu and started going through. The waiter asked me to go to my table , scan the QR code and I can see the menu on phone and order and pay in phone itself. I told I don’t want to order it like that. As I prefer a physical menu and this process was compelling me to follow a technical approach which is out of reach for a common man.

And a lot of technological advancements that are meant to quicken the process were literally slowing them down and are not serving the purpose.

Although I’m a techie myself. I prefer an old school method of seeing the hard copy of the colourful menu card, interacting with the waiter , asking for options and opinions. Then choosing the right pizza for me.

And worst part is compelling the customers to follow this or they cant log the bill. And also you have to agree to receive promotional information from Pizza Hut to your WhatsApp number if you want to proceed to payment.

Not sure if this is the new procedure but it was not customer friendly.

It looked like that a man without a smartphone and PhonePe or gpay or NetBanking can’t have a pizza from Pizza Hut.

The pizza base bread was falling into pieces . It was too soft for a pizza. And the taste was not...

Edit / Update: Had an opportunity to visit this restaurant recently. Felt that they are fading away on the Dine-in services. Girl on the counter gives a look like "do you even know what pizza is made up of?". Takes every single order wrong. Instead of quantity 2, she takes order of 1 item, instead of table number 23, she gives the token number 24 and all our orders were going to the other table. Not much scope for this branch, soon they will close it if this is the case. My best wishes.

Older Post: Compared to other pizza joints, pizza's from pizza hut is good with respect to their breads and crust. But to review about this particular outlet, its always better to get a take away or if your place is nearby, order for a deliver. Because the dine-in seating is very limited. Especially if anyone wants to dine in as a group, it will not be that good. Parking space is very limited too and its a common parking for the entire complex. Otherwise pizza and delivery is good until now on...
