Salem RR Biryani - Velachery Branch — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting Salem RR Briyani at Vijaya Nagar in Velachery, and I must say that it was an absolute nightmare. The level of service I received was nothing short of appalling, and I feel compelled to share my terrible experience.

I arrived at the restaurant on a Sunday around 2pm, expecting to enjoy a decent meal. However, from the moment I stepped foot inside, it was clear that something was terribly wrong. The first red flag was the complete lack of attention from the staff. I stood there waiting for someone to take my order, but no one approached me for a staggering 15 minutes. It was as if I was invisible to them.

Finally, a waiter reluctantly made his way over to me and informed me that the dining time was over for the day. I was taken aback and couldn't comprehend what I had just heard. I asked him why they would refuse to serve me when I had arrived well within their operating hours. To my disbelief, he explained that the reason behind this was their overwhelming number of online delivery orders.

According to the waiter, the restaurant was prioritizing their online delivery orders, leaving little to no attention for customers who actually took the effort to dine in. He even mentioned that there were numerous customers and delivery partners who were engaged in heated arguments with the staff, all desperately trying to get their orders fulfilled. The chaos and commotion were simply unbearable.

As I looked around, I could see disgruntled customers shouting at the staff, demanding their orders to be made. The entire place was overcrowded, with people anxiously waiting to receive their parcels. The situation was so chaotic that there was no space to even move or exit the restaurant. It was an absolute mess and left me deeply disappointed.

This experience at Salem RR Briyani has left a bitter taste in my mouth, both literally and figuratively. The complete disregard for customers who chose to dine in, the lack of attention and service, and the overwhelming focus on online delivery orders all contributed to one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. I would strongly advise against visiting this establishment if you value good service and a pleasant...

Read fully makkalry....I bought chicken tandoori briyani.. Total waste of money... I'm not new... First RR briyani opened near velachery sangeetha at that time it was good... Taste was catchy chennai briyani... In that experience I went today.

Today by the entrance itself not good... Cashier guy very arrogant like venum nu sapidu illati kelambu matiri attitude.. I asked for menu card he said athu yellam onnum illai verum briyani tha antha broad iruku atha menu...

Seri ok... I asked again chicken boneless, tandoori briyani irukumey then he said yes iruku... Then I ordered... Normal vida 50rs extra price for tandoori...

When the piece came for parcel I was shocked... Twoo Small pieces... And that's not a tandoori cut.. Normal chicken ah they made into tandoori... Waste of money... Itha vida special onnu iruku... Read fully down special item..

Some swiggy zomato order came for 5 mutton briyani.. And dine in customer also ordered one mutton.. They accepted the order.. Finally when they opened the big anda.. There was only one mutton briyani left.. Cashier incharge came and said aiyo sariya pakkama accept panniten order ah konjam adjust panni podu pieces ah nu... That employee said I can split this into 2 mutton briyani only nu... But cashier asked make it for 4 atleast and cancel la dine in order nu... Employee said kandipa issue varum bcoz pieces ye illai... They were discussing this... And came out with a fight....

Waste of money,...cashier guy over attitude.....Intha 300rs ku nalla star briyani, sherif bhai even 50rs extra kuduthu thalapakatti kooda satisfied ah...

Had a really worst experience in this Restaurant , Bought one of my Foreign Friend to experience the Best birayani (which I had in other RR branches ).But had one of the worst experience in this velachery branch. The Restaurant doesn't have a soap to wash hand Rat's running around every where ,when informed they started laughing like it's their Pet 3.asked for Hot water but the Restaurant didn't have the Facility so they Bought the HOT water in a Big vessel where curd spilled all around it AC was not working and asked to keep a fan but no.body gave a response 5.This branch was listed in Zomato dining with a 15% walking discount but the branch said they don't accept zomato pay

At one point we broke and started calling the manager and he didn't even gave a proper response to all this issues giving a laugh are we stupid to spend 350Rs for a birayani to get all this kind of Cheap experience.Been trying to contact RR support team for a while but no one is giving a proper response , one of the worst experience we ever had with RR , I would never recommend a person to try...
