Cream Stone — Local services in North Zone

Though the quality of icecream is good, the price is overrated for the serving size. Never had such small serving at similar parlours in Delhi or chennai. Also,the icecream is served in an waffle cup, which in turn is placed in a regular cup. The look is so unstylish, and a if one chooses to have the waffle - it spoils the mood of having had a delicious ice cream. Seriously, the management should give it a thought. People would like to indulge in just the icecream, why force them to have the waffle too ( as the waffle is charged). The spoon that is given is flimsy and easily breakable. Expect delicious icecream but do not expect class or style in the way it is served or the quality of spoon, waffle or the service. Do ask for taste of the icecream- you will be put off by the amount that's on the spoon. Not even quarter on the tiniest spoon is offered, which discourages one to taste different flavors. Though a novel concept, this will not be long because of their overpriced rate for the quantity and attitude of miserliness( the spoon quality, overtly sweetened waffles some of which are burnt and the serving size). Worst service ever.. I doubt if they are even genuinely part of the original cream stone franchise. I went here with my family and below are my experiences:

We asked for ice creams and the guy was like we don't have any stone made ice creams available as the stone is not ready. Can you imagine? I went there around 2:30 in the afternoon and the guy says stone is not ready. We ordered milkshakes out of which one milkshake was also not available which we got to know 5 mins after our order. This is highlight..while we were about to pay, the guy comes in and says you need to purchase something else in place of the milkshake as I have already billed the milkshake. I mean like, it is your mistake that you don't have the item and still you bill the item and ask the customer to purchase something else because you have billed it. Who bills it even before the service is done? He refused to payback the amount as he has already billed it though we never...

About the store: Store was not clean, AC was not working, Icecream freezer was not visible to the customer, Working area like Icecream table and icecream freezer are not clean. They are using Plastic container in the microwave oven. No washbasin in the store for customer.

About the service: Employes are not friendly specifically person in the billing counter without uniform. They are not interested to explain the flavours they have and not willing to give flavours tasting. Big joke is in this store they don't have Make Your own flavour ice-cream concept. I believe cream stone is popular for that.

I have visited many cream stone stores in India. This was a very bad experience in Coimbatore store. This store spoils cream stone reputation.

Person who owns this franchise has to look into this concern. And educate the employees how to behave with the customer and to maintain...
