Starbucks — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Excellent location on a main street that is considerably less crowded than the typical Chennai main road. New outlet -- clean, cozy yet modern, nice ambience and not very crowded. Coffee is above average but overpriced for the normal Indian especially if it's not a sit-in affair. That said, please remember Starbucks is actually more than just coffee: it's the whole package of being able to sit there in a pleasant ambience, the with free wi-fi, hygiene and quality standards etc, so it can't be priced like, say, Madras Coffee House (INR 40-50 per black coffee); even so, it remains high-priced for the local market. Staff are friendly and service are very goo. 4-stars because Starbucks is usually self-service and I reserve 5-stars for establishments with table service alone. How you treat the customers conveys your intention on retaining / letting go of a Customer :) We ordered a Cafe Mocha for our daughter, and after a few sips, our little one poured it on herself. After cleaning her up, we apologized to the cafe guys for the mess, and when we were about to leave, the person who took our order offered one more cup of Cafe Mocha.. though we are happy with the gesture, I politely refused.. I visit when I need to network with a partner or client. Best place for brunch and networking or to work on laptop without distractions. The staff does not disturb you at all.
