I recently dined at Hotel Buhari Ashok Nagar and sampled various dishes, forming a mixed opinion. The Haryali chicken starters, while okay, earned a modest 3-star rating, with the standout being the delightful mint chutney.

Regrettably, the Chicken Biryani failed to meet expectations, lacking both in chicken quantity and overall taste. With a below-average performance, I rated it only 1 star, finding it wanting compared to competitors. The Onion Raita was just large chunks of onions with little curd and nothing more..

The Pepper Chicken, overloaded with onions and lacking chicken substance, received a negative rating, marking it as a definite “no-go” for future orders.

On a positive note, the Kadai Paneer was passable, though the paneer was scarce. The Butter Naan, however, stood out as a tasty choice.

Critically, the food’s quality did not align with its high price; I believe it was not worth even 25% of the amount charged. Additionally, the neatness of the servers left much to be desired.

A suggestion for improvement would be for the restaurant to provide information on ingredient quantities, setting clear expectations for customers. Uncertain about whether Buhari Ashok Nagar is a franchise or directly run by Buhari, I conclude that while it can satisfy hunger in a pinch if no options for you and for , those seeking an exceptional meal, especially Biryani at nominal rates , may find better options in and...

Venturing into Buhari Hotel in Ashok Nagar, Chennai, I anticipated nothing short of a gastronomic delight, especially considering the establishment's fame for its iconic Chicken 65. Regrettably, my recent visit left much to be desired.

The much-acclaimed Chicken 65, typically a culinary masterpiece at Buhari, failed to evoke the usual awe. Instead, it manifested as a rather ordinary rendition of the dish. The flavors lacked the characteristic punch and zest that have made Buhari synonymous with exceptional dining experiences.

While the ambiance and service maintained the trademark Buhari hospitality, the culinary centerpiece, the Chicken 65, failed to live up to the lofty standards set by the renowned brand. The dish seemed to lack the unique blend of spices and textures that usually make it a standout.

In light of this, my recommendation to those seeking the quintessential Buhari experience is to divert their culinary journey to the Mount Road branch. The Mount Road outlet has consistently delivered a more authentic and satisfying rendition of the famed Chicken 65, ensuring a superior dining experience.

Despite the underwhelming encounter at the Ashok Nagar establishment, the legacy of Buhari Hotel remains intact. For those eager to savor the true essence of Buhari's culinary prowess, a detour to Mount Road is strongly advised for a more memorable and delightful...

Had very worst experience yesterday... we use to be frequent visitors to that restaurant. Recent days the quality of the restaurant gone to steep in worst side... we ordered egg briyani fish fingers prawn, paya and parotta. Mutton legs in pays was much cold inside directly from the fridge they have added to already cooked masala. Worst experienced was egg briyani. From, old stock of mutton and chicken briyani all together mixed in top with eggs they served. When look in to other tables who ordered mutton and chicken briyani they got fresh briyani with long grains. Our rice was mashy and brown in clour totally could understand that it was old stock segregated and served. If they don't want to serve egg briyani they can remove it from menu instead of giving a customer old stock. Whether we egg or mutton briyani we pay . Why can't they give proper fresh stock briyani for kuska and egg briyani lovers instead giving the old stock food. Every customer to be treated equally as everyone pay the same. It is not the first time I have evidenced whenever I order online for egg briyani they use sent the old one but yesterday as we had food in restaurant I could identify by comparing other briyani also could evidence pieces of mutton and chicken present in the same bowl. When I complained to manager not even proper response they couldn't reply properly as they caught with...

😡 😡 😡 Worst and bad hotel compared to other outlets. This restaurant does not have many dishes like Garlic naan, hariyali panner, juice , tea etc at 10 PM on weekend . They don't have any offers and combos which is budget friendly. They have starters but nothing is available . Briyani was horrible and not worth the money . I wanted to give 0 stars for their seating. The hand wash area was awful and no restroom was stinky. The charges are high but the quantity is less. Con : The seating is not available and comfortable. Many dishes were not available after ordering it , suddenly the person 😕 tells not available Egg and Bread halwa was not available. The car parking furthermore is okay. Overall Ratings : Taste. : 0/5 Quality. : 1/5 Service : 2/5 Ambiance : 1/5 Quantity. : 2/5 Rates. : 1/5 Hospitality: 2/5

Visited yesterday with family for lunch, not sure what sick food they served we are down with diarrhea fever and body pain. Fortunately my kid haven't ate anything, can't even imagine what if he had. People and food they serve is so pathetic and unhygienic. They kitchen and how they handle used plates ( throwing leftover food and plates in same basket to rot for a day and serve again by just rinsing it). When you complain about food they are not to Willing to accept or listen, they just want to replace it or not bill it. Customers are not complaining for free food, customers complain because they trusted the place to eat and want it to be rectified, so that someone else is not affected. Un refrigerated rotten chicken either grilled or deep fried and served. Day 2 : me and my wife admitted to hospital
