Today, I had the pleasure of enjoying a Complimentary Lunch from @thanjavurmilitarykitchen , and I must say, it was an absolute treat!

✅ Top-notch quality ✅ Neat packaging (everything packed separately + banana leaf provided) ✅ Generous quantity (more than enough for one person) ✅ Authentic taste – every dish was bursting with flavors!

The highlight? Karuvattu Thoku – absolutely delicious!

The meal included a fantastic spread: 🥘 Meals, Mutton Kilambu, Fish Kulambu, Chicken Kulambu, Puli Kulambu, Rasam, Karuvattu Thoku, Prawns Thoku, Nandu Gravy, Curd, Papadam, Payasam and much more!

If you're craving a wholesome non-veg feast, I highly recommend ordering from them. Treat yourself to a delicious meal today!

The place has a mess vibe but the AC saved me from the heat. I went with the popular dish - nei (ghee) chicken varuval (fry). It was one of the best GFC I've ever tasted. It stands next to Mangalore GFC.

My wife tried the chinna vengayam (small onion) podi dosai while my son tried idiyappam. Both were amazing in taste and texture. The crunchiness of the CVPD was great and the sides took me to the childhood local mess days!

If they're able to maintain the taste, then I think they can get good traction in the future.

Challenges: although the seats are comfy the layout makes it tough to ingress and eggress please introduce card facilities as well (they accept GPay & cash) I understand this is a military canteen but if you've sambhar then you have covered all your customers avoid putting pure asaivam - as a saivam person who came with me enjoyed your food

Thanjavur military kitchen is undoubtedly One of the best authentic places for non veg and authentic food lovers. Looks like a small similar place from outside but the food served is unbelievably tasty and satisfies out soul

We have decided to visit this place for lunch and dinner if we ever get a chance to visit erode any time again
