The Italian Cake Shop Nagercoil — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

It is a terrible place run by a money-minded owner with no courtesy for patrons or civilians. We've been irregular buyers at this store & had stopped purchase as there were inconsistent experience in taste (old & stale items) post the lockdown reopening. We haven't been buy there oflate.

This review is based on a single recent purchase where the owner & staff refused to help people and were insistent on selling. Earlier this week, my brother & me were trying to help a family who were stranded on the road after the car fuel dried up & wasn't restarting with 1 lt fuel added. Based on vehicle service provider's advise we reached the near by fuel pump to get additional fuel (about 5 ltrs) but we didn't have a can. We requested the bakery for empty bottles, they didn't have and without an option we purchased 2x2 ltr water cans with a thought to empty and get fuel. When we told the idea to petrol pump staff the advised us against the idea, highlighting that the water mixed (even in limited quantity) is risky for vehicles. On their advise, we headed to a plastic shop & got 5 ltr can.

While I headed to pump to get the fuel, my brother went to the bakery to return the cans (intact) explaining the situation. The staff & the owner (assuming the man at the cash counter was the owner) mocked him for trying to return, abused and started advising about 'ethics' of buying. After persisting they abused & returned the money. We were quite upset at this treatment - more importantly at how the cash counter guy lectured that his refusal take back is ethical (ironically forgetting to realise that it is humanitarian act that he & his shop refused to support)! I urge, residents to shift their business to better places that are socially...

Worst customer service... I have gone several times to italian cake shop parvathipuram branch... As my office is nearby it.. When ever i go to purchase anything the work person there ask to give the exact change that is if we buy for 54 or 63 this is just an example he ask for the change to give.. For the person who purchase for high value are treated in good way and those who buys 2 puffs or 2 cake they are not only treated bad they are illtreated.. Is this a way to treat a customer... Just they have many branches and good business running they should not do like this... Not only this the person who are close to them are allowed inside in this covid time and others are asked to stay outside the rope... Please try to treat everyone equal.. Buying 1 or 2 puffs is not cheap.. If that is the case please but a board outside mentioning we accept customer who purchase more than 200 rs they will only be treated good and sale is only for them.. This is my personal experiance and they have done to me this for more than 20 times and today also they treated me so bad that i lost my patient and and giving my review... Please take action or people please dont go to this shop this is my humble request... These kind of persons must be punished for treating people with the value of money...

This particular cake shop has a dine-in in the first floor. We usually go there to have our eve snacks. This time we were suggested to have a new variety of Pasta the chef has tried. I was sceptical the first time but eventually tried it. I have to say this is by far the best pasta I had. I have had pasta in chennai, bangalore, trivandrum and in Nagercoil. Out of my experience this is the pasta I would say. This pasta is names 'New York Pasta'. Wanted to write this review to let know all the people who are looking for good pasta in Nagercoil.
