If you're in The Nilgiris or in Coonoor and looking for the best pub and restaurant in town, The Tipsy Bison is the place to be! It’s a fantastic spot to hang out, whether you’re with friends or spending quality time with family.

The food is consistently tasty and packed with flavor. My personal favorites are the Mutton Ghee Roast and Chilli Prawns—both are absolutely delicious and highly recommended.

What truly sets this place apart is the team. The staff are friendly, warm, and always ready to ensure you have a great time. A special shoutout to Rajesh, the bartender, who mixes some of the best cocktails I’ve had. And the wonderful service from Anoop, Bijan, Sonu, and the rest of the crew—always welcoming with a smile—adds to the amazing atmosphere.

They have various sitting areas- outdoor smoking are, indoor couches. They also have closed cabin area for family or groups.

They also have sufficient parking space, which is a big plus in a hill station like Coonoor.

Undoubtedly a go-to place if you’re in Coonoor for your posh drinks and chic ambience. Not your usual party place, but for the best part of it, tipsy bison actually serves as a great spot to unwind your evenings. A lavish menu of cocktails accompanied with lip-smacking food awaits you with a service team that has all smiles on their face. I’ve been here twice on my visit to Connoor and was impressed by how well they’ve been running the place. Do try out the Chicken Kondattom, Chicken Legina, Jalapeño Cheese Poppers, Tandoori Chicken, Naan, and the Butter Chicken. The bison killer cocktail is an absolute killer.
