My visit to Ankapur Military Hotel was an absolute delight, primarily for its spicy and flavorful food that left a lasting impression. This place is a haven for spice lovers, and the unique serving style enhances the entire dining experience.

One of the highlights was the pulao served in hot clay pots, which made the dishes incredibly aromatic and visually appealing. The spiciness was perfectly balanced, making my taste buds dance with joy.

We started with a variety of dishes, including Ragi Sangati, Natu Kodi Pulusu, Chicken Wings, Mutton Chops, and Fish Fry. Each starter was delicious, but the spicy and flavorful Natu Kodi Pulusu stood out. For the main course, we tried the Chicken Pulao and Gongura Mutton Pulao, both served in the hot clay pots. The presentation was mouthwatering, and the taste exceeded expectations.

To balance the spiciness, we also tried Pappucharu Annam, which was like a comforting home-cooked meal with medium spice. Being a Telugu guy, I couldn't miss ending the meal with curd rice, which was simple yet satisfying. We paired our food with Goli Soda and Lassi, both of which were refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly.

The ambiance was another highlight. The hotel is beautifully decorated with creepers and plants, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. The combination of great food and a top-notch dining environment made the experience memorable.

The service was prompt and professional, with orders served quickly. The restaurant also offers car parking space for about 4 to 5 vehicles, which is convenient.

On January 1, 2025, I had one of the most disappointing dining experiences at your establishment. The service was absolutely unacceptable. Despite placing our order promptly, we were left waiting for over an hour for our food, which is beyond reasonable for any restaurant.

The service staff appeared disorganized and inattentive, showing little regard for customer concerns. Requests for updates on our order were either ignored or met with vague responses. To make matters worse, there was no manager on-site to address the situation or offer any form of resolution.

For a restaurant operating on a busy day like New Year’s, such unpreparedness is shocking. Customers expect better service, especially on special occasions. This experience was not just disappointing but downright frustrating.
