Tasca Bar & Kitchen — Restaurant in Telangana

I visited the restaurant for a special occasion last Saturday.

We were first seated on a table on the first floor, as it was the only area housing non-high chair and table. We later had to move because they refused to lower the volume of the speakers. Friendly tip: Please make your preference known to the waiter before you sit, else you would also be subjected to loud music, which was amplified by the speakers. We sat outside afterwards and it was more chill and open. Definitely better than the earlier choice. If you can tolerate/like the loud music, then you can pick your preference from the tables inside.

Moving to the food, we ordered Thai Chilli Lotus Stem and Paneer Spindles for starters, Deep-Dish Pizza and Mixed Veg Dumplings for the main course. We also ordered a mocktail, Mint Cooler which was made well; it wasn't too sweet and gave a subtle mint flavor.

The Thai Chilli Lotus Stem was made in the form of Honey Chilli Potatoes. It was crunchy and flavorful, would definitely recommend. I tried Lotus Stem for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at the palate of taste.

Paneer Spindles were also made well. The Paneer was soft and it paired up well with the dip they gave.

I tried Deep-Dish Pizza for the first time, and wow! The quantity was amazing and it was pretty heavy because of all the cheese. The dish was a little overcooked but it was well substituted by the flavor and filling.

For me, the highlight of the evening was the Mixed Veg Dumplings. I would highly recommend you to try this when you visit the place (I've attached a photo for reference). The layer was thin and the Dumpling was very cooked. The size of the Dumpling was decent and the pairing with the chilli sauce was exquisite.
