Little Italy Kokapet — Restaurant in Telangana

Few years back before Covid I visited the branch in HiTech City not once but twice. It was so so so damn good. Not just ambience, service and taste of food. I am not an expert to certify Italian food, but what they served was top notch quality + variety. Even till date my friends talk about the lunch we had there twice.

With similiar hope after planning and cancelling for multiple times I could finally visit this place. It's for a dinner. To begin with its easy to reach with help of Google Maps, once we reached we were searching for how to get to restaurant. With help of Kala Kunj staff we got to know the way and reached.

Now ambience was ok. I was like what did they do to this branch and why. That was my first thought. Food menu was Ala-Carte and Buffet (7 Course Sit-Down Buffet). Having previous experience in mind I said let's go for buffet and next visit we try Ala-Carte. Menu of Ala-Carte I posted along with this. To my utter dismay except Pizza and Ceasar Salad nothing was worth. Pasta was not cooked completely. On Nachos there was some yellow kind of cheese. Better I don't talk about taste of it. Salsa was like u grind a tomato and give to us. Desert was absolutely waste. Some caramel pudding or whatever name they gave it was bitter. And Mango Cheese Cake, only the base was ok. I can't imagine in the very small piece of desert served to us, we could not complete half of it.

When a brand is created and people have memories with it one comes back with a lot of hope and expectation to have similar memories with their loved ones. An experience like this only kills it in more than a way I can say.

I just hope the Chef focuses on how best the food can be made and the service team remebers the sequence in which food must be served and not serving a soup as a 5th dish in a 7 course meal despite multiple reminders.

I will still look forward to visit to try something in Ala-Carte and will for sure hope atleast then I will be able to have best experience from Food and...

I have to say that this restaurant left a lot to be desired.

Let's start with the mushroom risotto. It was terrible. The rice was overcooked and mushy, and the mushrooms were bland and flavorless. It was clear that no effort had been made to properly season or prepare this dish. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The croquettes were no better. They were badly cooked, with a soggy texture that was unappetizing. They lacked the crispy exterior and creamy interior that one would expect from a good croquette. It was obvious that the chef had no idea how to prepare this dish.

To make matters worse, everything we ordered was bland. The flavors were muted and uninspiring. The lack of seasoning was particularly noticeable in the garlic bread we tried. They were so tasteless that we couldn't finish them.

To top it off, the service was slow. We waited far too long for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was a huge disappointment. The staff seemed uninterested and inattentive, making the dining experience even more unpleasant. They didn't even bring us a bread basket which is usually a staple of Little Italy.

Even the dessert was stale. We ordered the tiramisu, but it was dry and tasteless. It was clear that it had been sitting in the fridge for far too long.

All in all, I would not recommend Little Italy. There are plenty of other Italian restaurants in the area that offer better food and service. Save your money and...

If you are looking for a authentic italian restaurant around the Hyderabad Little Italy chain of restaurants is a goto place. This place is located in Serilingampally area and Google maps takes directly to the location.

Friendly and welcoming staff and are well acquainted with the dishes and they suggested us to go for buffet.

Starters, Drinks and Pizzas will be served at the table, they are unlimited. Mexican starters are really good. Special mention about brick oven pizza 👌

There are wide variety of 1st course and 2nd course meals available along with the live pasta counters. Live pastas are served within 10 mins of placing the order.

Unlike mentioned by other reviewers I did not faced any problem with staff and availability of the buffet spread. May be they worked out on it based on the reviews.

Feedback to owners: Improve the desert options.

There is restroom inside the restaurant and it is not wheelchair accessible ♿❌.

Place accepts cash, card and wallet payments.

2 & 4 wheeler parking facility is available in the basement.
