Always been a pop Tate's regular for so many years...but never been so disappointed in their other franchises. Since I have tried almost all in the menu decided to order from the new IPL menu. Sizzling biryani with hot sauce and water chestnuts came with just a rice plate put on the hot plate, not a single chestnut nor the promised sauce. Normally one just eats it cos it's come and you don't waste it... But this was looking so pathetic I at least asked why there are no chestnuts to which first I get a non chalant reply. Then the manager did offer to redo it but I felt safer to order from my regular options. Second time too got tempted to order sweet potato bravas from the new menu... And again the promised mustard was missing.... this one we just quietly ate.. Point is if you are publisizing a new menu either make the chef aware what is promised or just stick to the original options only. The service has deteriorated big time. The service charge being included waiters are not bothered to actually Give the service we are compulsorily charged Even their 1 on 1 Happy hours policy differs from one franchisee to another.... Not happy at all. With various options in the Walk... They better pull up their socks or lose old loyalists. C'mon Pop Tate's... Get back to being...
Read moreVisited today afternoon after not so nice experience at another place in H estate.
Nice location, just few minutes after arcadia circle. This place is spacious with comfortable seating. Few tables are placed next to windows which allow sun light inside the restaurant.
There was no one when I entered but the place was ready to welcome customers. It was clean, lit up fully, TV's were on, music was being played and wait staff was dressed smartly in their uniforms. Impressive..
They have many offers (1+1, 2+1) on alcohol & mocktails. Food menu is large and has everything from soups, salads, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, other continental items and even biryani.
Had k/f ultra draught and ordered chicken lasagna. The portion was large and enough for two. It was served piping hot but wasn't baked completely. It had a cheese base, was topped with some sauce and cheese and had chicken keema in between. No pasta or noodles. It tasted bland even after adding salt, chilly flakes and ketchup. However no complaints. Pleasant experience. Pricing is moderately expensive. Wait staff/servers are young and soft spoken.
Place was 30 - 40% occupied when I left at...
Read moreI had a pretty bad experience when I went to this outlet to dine out this evening. While my family ordered chicken hakka noodles and dry chiili chicken, I opted for a non-veg club sandwich. While taking the order the waiter informed me that the sandwich would take 20 mins...to which I said that it was okay as long as it was not over 20 mins. While my wife and kid's food was served well within time, my order was taking a longer than usual time. Meanwhile my family had already finished their dinner and I was made to wait for over half an hour. So much so that I decided to decline the order and summon the manager. To my astonishment both the manager and waiter picked up an argument with me stating that the order was served well within the declared time frame. I told them that any restaurant of a decent standard would not take over half-an-hour to serve an order. If they were not confident of their SKU...they shouldn't have placed it on their menu card. The manager was offering me a discount on my next visit...to which I said...that I would really think twice before coming to...
