Sbarro New York Pizza (Thane Panchpakhadi) — Restaurant in Thane

I am writing to complain about two pizzas that I ordered from Sbarro New York Pizza on July 31, 2023. The pizzas were delivered by Zomato, and I ordered them through the Zomato app.

The first pizza was a chicken pepperoni pizza. The toppings on this pizza were significantly less than what I have received in the past. It was dry and tasteless, and the pepperoni was few and far between. The pizza also tasted funny and weird.

The second pizza was a chicken and pepperoni sausage pizza. This pizza also had significantly less toppings than I have received in the past. It was dry and tasteless, the toppings was few and far between, and there was very few sausage at all. Instead of cheese, this pizza had mayonnaise on it. I am a chef, and I can tell the difference between cheese and mayonnaise. The cheese on this pizza was clearly mayonnaise.

I was highly disappointed with the quality of the pizzas...

I visited the Sbarro Pizza branch at Thane Teen Hath Naka and had a disappointing experience. I ordered a pizza, and the staff informed me that it would take 15 minutes to prepare. However, after waiting for half an hour, I still hadn't received my pizza. When I inquired about the delay, the staff responded in a rude manner, which was quite frustrating.

Overall, the service was not up to the mark, and the lack of professionalism from the staff. I expected better customer service, especially when there was a delay in my order. I hope the management addresses these issues to improve the experience for...

Since Sbarro is a reputed global brand, I assumed that the pizza would be tasty and delicious.

I was wrong.

For one, the delivery happened quite leisurely, after 50-55 minutes of placing the order. I didn't mind.

But when I tasted the pizza I was totally disappointed, as the pizza sauce tasted sour, almost pathetic. This was quite contrary to expectations and also unlike the pizza offered by Domino's and Pizza Hut. Totally unlike a global brand.

A question for Sbarro: Just because you have a BOGO offer, does it mean that it's okay if your pizza...
