Starbucks — Restaurant in Thane

To my surprise the manager at the counter was a bit arrogant, not with his words but it was visible through his reactions!

Zomato has been giving lot of free coffees to its gold customers due to which a lot of people are visiting Starbucks to redeem the same and I was observing this guy he looked unhappy with the increasing numbers of free coffee and he himself mentioned it saying “Yeh zomato wale bohot zyada free coffee de rahe hain aur aajkal sab wahi log aa rahe, yeh dekho yeh log bhi wahi hain” (addressing a group of 3 people behind us)

I though it was uncalled for because he is not liable to pay from his own pocket and any-which ways Starbucks has charged way too much for its coffee already and the company is fine to give away free coffee and what’s the harm in claiming it.. I personally do not enjoy coffee at Starbucks (it’s just behaving like apple) all name and no performance!!

Though this is clearly my experience and my perception and taste for my own coffee, individuals and their thought process may vary!

Though for the amount we pay for a coffee at Starbucks what we get in return is a quote ambience and one can do a lot of creative or writing or reading or office work on their laptops as well, full marks on this one !!

This is my favourite Starbucks in Thane. Actually the brand by itself is a favourite in any city for me on my work travels.

1- it opens early. 😃 2- the staff is really warm and welcoming. Namrata the manager, Mahendra & Dipti -the Baristas.plus anyone I missed. 3- The overall ambience is great!

The staff was incredibly rude and disrespectful. My colleague and I were working there, having just ordered coffee. We hadn’t been waiting for long, but suddenly a staff member, possibly the manager, came up and told us to leave. It seemed like they were keeping track of time, even though we hadn’t been sitting for long at all. Their behavior was absolutely atrocious. I’ve never returned since.
