The well know south Indian eatery of Thane has now opened a restaurant style eatery at Hiranandani Estate. This one adjoins several other restaurants and unlike it's branch at Vasant Vihar offers seats at tables. Platforms on side are for eating while standing. The menu is the same as at other branches and also it is a self service restaurant.
They serve all south Indian snacks and light meals. They do not serve tea. Prices are reasonable and one can have a meal for under one hundred rupees. Only the thali meal priced INR 120 is an item more expensive than one hundred rupees. The food is prepared in an open kitchen visible from the dining area. Read moreI had to give 1 star to this worst place because there is no category below level 1. The food quality is worst than poor. You can get much better quality in any road side vendor. They even charge you heavily for take away food. That is also per item charge. Suppose you order 5 plate wada, they will charge you Rs.40 more (Rs.8/ plate) extra just to give your food in paper bags. There is no garuntee that you will get the same food that you had ordered. You need to open the parcel there itself and check. I ordered Mysore masala and I got Mysore sada in the cost of Mysore masala! They use very cheap plastic bags for packing hot stuff like sambaar, which is very bad for health.. Now a days, even road side vendors use aluminium foil. In short, this place is not worth visiting...

To which he replied: 50 people will have 50 comments about me. I don’t work that way. My tone itself is like that, what can I do?
He perhaps hasn’t yet realized that he is in customer serving business. I will not be visiting this place, even if I run out of options.
Regarding the food quality, I didn’t find it extraordinary. It is just like any other south Indian restaurant and not worth putting up to...
