A Memorable Celebration at Sankranti! We recently celebrated my son's first birthday at Sankranti, OMR, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived, everything was well-organized, and the staff ensured that all our guests were comfortable.

On Sunday, we were looking for a way to complete our meal at OMR. Since most restaurants are packed, we decided on Sankranti since they assured us that there were seats available when we enquired. The restaurant has just opened. There was lots of space between the restaurant and the main road, making parking straightforward. It was made easier for customers to park their cars by the presence of a few attendants.

The staff were attentive. The rooms had a warm atmosphere and were exquisitely designed. There are several selections on the menu, such as Andhra, Chinese, North Indian, and Tandoori cuisines. The food was decent, and the service was prompt. Even my son liked it because it wasn't too hot, making it ideal for young children.

I tried Bhojanam, Konaseema loose prawns dry, Bhojanam (non-veg), Masala Pomfret Vepudu, and Chicken Dum Biriyani. The gravies, particularly the morekozhambu (combined with finely chopped onions), were excellent which was served with bhojanam.

Because it was less spicy, I didn't feel like I was eating lunch at a regular Andhra restaurant. The taste is very subtle but the quality was good

We as a family decided to go a second time in 20 days time span, back to Sankranti. The first time we went it was a good affair service was great and food was acceptable and while price was on the higher side from the value they provided we still liked it. However, today was a sordid affair, service was substandard, they were short staffed and the service personnel took it out on the customers by being rude and just chucked the dishes at the table and were not available to even request them for serving. That aside Surprisingly to add to the issues ALL the dishes arrives late and cold. And taste was completely off and bland and lacked any spice. Guessing the chef and staff are disgruntled and short staffed and it is reflecting everywhere. What was the final straw was when we were leaving we thought we should share our disappointment with the restaurant manager, who was tongue tied and didn’t seem to have anything to say other than try us again. (In our heads we were like YEAH sure). Please avoid this overhyped and sad place. They have lost the passion and is just going through the motions like a slow train wreck.
