I read a lot about this joint and tried reaching there with the help of google maps as I was staying just 300 mt from there. So I ventured. As the roads were very narrow the exact location was unable to find.No signboards, So I asked a shop keeper near the location, adding to my chagrin, he was unaware of it's where abouts. Ultimately Google came to my rescue and lead me to a very small byline. Again a dead end there were 4 doors. leading to the residential quarters. One door was azar, a lady of some 55 years was visible tending her hair, There was a cow grazing dry grass. Left with out any option, I knocked on the door, then two boys of 20-25yrs appeared at the door. They asked me in unison what do you want. I said where is the Bowl of Compassion cafe. They said this is the one. As I already know that the cafe is in the Second floor. How to get there, I asked From here, they said When we were trying to enter the lady said, wait for another 5 minutes. I said Ok I'll come later. At that point my father who was accompanying me from the beginning asked, how can...

He took care of the tuk tuk charges and also treated us to the best chai in all of India! An experience we will treasure for sure.
Next time we come we will be sure to try the amazing food we heard so many treat things about, all made fresh. Thank...
Read moreRegarding the food I cannot understand how this restaurant has got all of the good reviews. We ordered a thali, malai kofta and a soup but couldn’t finish it because it was simply unenjoyable. The paneer was smelly, dhal watery and malai kofta with no taste. The soup was slimy. Our friend who ate the soup was the I only one finishing his meal and also the only one having massive stomach problems the following night. It started about 1 hour after eating at bowl of compassion. It took over an hour for the food to arrive - that would’ve been okay if the food was tasty. Also I’ve had the worst mango lassi here that I ever tasted.
Somit has been really nice and I really wished I could make a good review. Unfortunately I rather rate it bad so other people are not misinformed by the good...
