Went here several times during my stay in Varanasi!

Location: Near the ghats and close to several hostels, so it's super convenient

Menu: Good variety of things with some helpful pictures on the back of the menu itself for those of us travelers that don't know the items by name

Price: AMAZING prices for the food; skip the fancy overpriced tourist-cafes and come to this place where you can fill your belly without breaking your wallet!

Staff: The owner is a charming and enthusiastic older gentleman and you can tell he cares about his establishment. The place is clean and they want to leave a great impression, which they definitely do. On top of that you have some hardworking dudes pushing it in the kitchen to get your order to you as fast as they can.

Taste: Really really great stuff, and also clean! That's the amazing thing about this Laziz Bites: the price is NOT a reflection of the quality. Everything is affordable and equally tasty, and you can eat in the shop itself (which is admittedly small) or you can do what we did and get take-away and get your money's worth of a feast in the comfort of wherever you choose.

Here, you will find very fresh and homely cooked ,comfort food........prepared in front of you from scratch in a small kitchen.......by a very helpful,experienced, friendly chef.

Its a tiny shop with small seating capacity serving almost all types of cuisines .......Including breakfast ,lunch and dinner at very minimal prices.

Special mention: 'Bengali food'......Bengalis will not miss the comforting taste of home food and non veg options in Varanasi.

Tip: Contact them and order before coming for avoiding delay of service. Otherwise, watching live food preparation is...

This is a one-man run restaurant, who does all the work himself, right from cooking to serving foods to receiving the payment to packaging. We went there to try out Bengali Thali and we left with some wonderful memories and savoured some delicious foods. In the veg thali you will get unlimited refills and the owner encourages you to eat more. Being a Bengali guy, you can converse with him in Bengali....
