#Varanasi being primarily a #Veg food destination - I was not left with much choices during our family vacation to this city earlier this year.. Having said that, I was pretty happy with one of my discoveries - #DolphinRestaurant at #ManmandirGhat..
Situated right on the bank of river #Ganges - this two storeyed restaurant with an open terrace offers you a perfect ambience for a meal with an excellent view from almost every table - ofcourse, a vegetarian meal only.. Prices are slightly on the higher side of the spectrum but the service is top notch..
The #ColdCoffee was perfect for me - thick and frothy with loads of chocolate..
I must admit that the #RussianSalad that I enjoyed here was by far the best I have ever had till date - fresh cream and freshly cut exotic fruits made this one hell of a combination.. Fell in love instantly with the first bite..
#BakedPotato was an heavenly affair with an overload of cheese and potatoes (one that every Bengali foodie would vouch for)..đ
#MUSTVISIT whenever you are in Varanasi.. đ

Read moreMaybe l made the mistake about staying downstairs and not going to rooftop? The entrance into the downstairs section was horrible. Rubbish to the side of the entrance door is not a good look and only comes down to laziness. After many hours of walking l went to Dolphin Restaurant due to such good reviews.
I found the menu very basic and no different to any other restaurant as they all seem to serve the same variety of food.
I waited 20mins just for a SPRITE while the server just stood there and played on his phone. There was only 4 of us in the restaurant at the time so a waiting time of 20mins for a very simple drink is pathetic. When the indian people behind me ordered a drink (coke & sprite) it took under a minute. đ§ Not even water was served to me but when 2 other Indian people walked in they were served and looked after with water, menu and got there drinks really quick. Its really not worth the hype Theres no special food on the menu. No ambiance No music Very plain restaurant Young workers just playing Youtube on their phones while your trying to eat and enjoy the view. The pizza tasted like a frozen pizza. I wouldnât bother
How long will...
