Free Spirit is one of the best cafes I've been to. It has become my super favourite place. It is so calm and soothing with positive vibes that you forget all your problems. Whenever I think of going out to eat, I can only think of this place. I have visited this place so many times that I literally know each and everything about the menu and the place.
The cafe is a retro music themed place. Games like ludo and uno are available. A few books are available too. The great thing is that you get cool props for clicking cool pictures. Also, they have a dedicated music system in place which is superb. Most cafes in Lucknow play music for the sake of doing it but Free Spirit will show you what great music is.
The staff is polite and courteous and the delivery is quick.
Talking about the main part, the food - It's amazing! In my visits in the past one year, I've tried their Pizzas, Pastas, Garlic bread, shakes, coffees, mocktail, omelette, sandwiches and everything else. The white sauce pasta is to die for. The best in town. Perfect in the amount of white sauce and tastes superb. Yellow pasta is a new invention by the owner which is equally amazing. It's a must try. The pizzas are a treat to your tastebuds. My favourite is corn crunch. Among the cold coffees, Cafe Frappé happens to be my thing.
Some exquisite things that you'll find here are Chocolate Sandwich, Deep Fried Oreos and Affogato.
The prices are pocket friendly. No extra taxes to be paid.
The owner, Mohit has done a commendable job by opening this fantastic place which as I said, has become my favourite and that is why I've edited my review...
Read moreIf you're looking for a cozy cafe with great drinks and a fantastic ambiance, look no further than this cafe. First, let's talk about the drinks. It offers a wide range of beverages, from coffee and tea to smoothies and juices. I tried the "Metallica mocktail", and it was one of the best mocktails I've ever had. They also have a variety of unique and flavorful signature drinks, some of them which I tried are "Bloody Marry" and "Kiwi Blast".
But the drinks are just one part of the equation. The atmosphere at [Cafe name] is simply delightful. The decor is stylish and cozy, with small and interesting items and pop culture's hit movie and songs posters. The natural lighting and neon color scheme make the space feel soothing and relaxing, and the rock and metal background music adds just the right touch of ambiance.
Last but not least, the food is also outstanding. I had a "Mac 'n cheese pasta" which was just DELICIOUSSS... They also have a great selection of pizzas and other Chinese and Italian foods, which are also good to try. Overall, the food is definitely worth a visit on its own, but its combination with the excellent drinks and the ambience atmosphere makes this cafe a...
Read moreFree spirit was on my bookmarks for a long time. I finally decided to visit it with my colleagues on a fine Friday evening. Down to my analysis:
Food- The food items served here are palatable. Alfredo pasta deserves a special mention. Paneer burger and honey chilli potato were okayish. Chicken nuggets weren't good. The drinks were nice. The chocolate shake was good. The food presentation is awesome but they have to work on the taste of the food. 3/5
Ambience- The ambience is what got me to visit this cafe in the first place. It's a small cafe but they have utilised the space very efficiently. The vintage posters and books are a great catch. The place is properly lit and the seating arrangement is also proper. They offer lots of funny props which you can use to click cool photos. 4/5
Service- The service was a bit slow. 3.5/5
Cost- It is an economical place. Not heavy on your wallet.
In a nutshell, if you need a place to hang-out with your friends, do visit Free Spirit. It deserves a visit for its posters...
