When you decide to visit an exotic place with lit ambiance then, where to search for that location, no guessing you are at the right place. Situated at the second heart of Lucknow in Rohtas Summit is this beautiful place named as Bombay Brasserie. Before, you google it let me tell you Brasserie means a Restaurant designed in french style, isn't so cool! . It's need of the hour to discuss vividly about the ambiance, because they have creatively chosen the theme of sky blue and white to fill the the window panes and walls. They have decorated walls with wallpapers quoting the specialty that they offer in their menus. There are basically two menus one for drinks and the other one for brunch/lunch/dinner. The entrance also has some antic mortar pestles. There's also a private dining if you want it, with a separate liquor section and music also. . Coming on to the food section, there were awesome options to choose from. As we went for lunch, so without experimenting much we just landed on right core things.

-- First one was GunPowder Potato, evenly cooked potatoes mixed with fresh herbs and sauces, literally had a powdery pigment which landed a really exquisite taste in our mouths. It was really a recommended dish. A MUST TRY..

--Second one was a drink named as OLD TOWN DELHI, they called it "paua", the drink was served in small bottle and in a glass their was soda tossed up with garlic pieces and black Salt. So, the trick was we had to to mix the bottle content in the glass of soda. The taste of the drink was quite chatpata and sour.

--AamPapad Paneer was one of the dish which we didn't liked much since it had only sauces. The paneer pieces were not perfectly barbecued. .

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Beware of Hidden Charges & Forced Payments!

I visited this restaurant on March 27, 2025, with a few friends, and what should have been an enjoyable meal turned into a frustrating and exhausting experience. Our bill came to around ₹2,500, including ₹200 as service charges. Since service charges are optional as per government guidelines, I politely asked for them to be removed. To my surprise, the staff flatly refused.

When I spoke to the manager, instead of addressing the issue professionally, I was given two unfair choices:

1. Pay the full amount (including service charges) and avail my discount.
2. Have the service charges removed but be denied the option to pay via the District App.

This was nothing short of coercion. Despite our repeated attempts to reason with them, we were forced to pay the service charges, leaving us mentally drained. The entire situation was handled terribly, with no regard for customer rights or satisfaction.

If you’re considering dining here, be prepared for unethical billing practices and high-handed treatment. I have already filed a complaint with the consumer court, and I strongly urge others to be cautious before visiting. A restaurant that disrespects its customers like this does not deserve...
