Barbeque Nation - Rohtas Summit, Lucknow — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

Barbeque Nation is my favorite place in town for a yummy buffet lunch/dinner. Have been going to the river side mall one since many years and this time planned to visit the Rohtas Summit one. The barbeque nation at Rohtas has ample seating space which is a good thing as the place doesn't seem too crowded on busy days.

I had visited along with my friends for their ongoing Hakuna Matata food festival. The staff were dressed according to the theme of the festival and the restaurant was decorated as per the theme as well. Good music and amazing ambience made my evening even more fun.

As per the food. I loved their starters. The starters at Barbeque Nation have always been delicious. They have a good variety in both veg and non veg options. In non veg their grilled Prawns, chicken and chicken wings were my favorite. In veg, crispy corn, Cajun spiced potatoes, grilled pineapple are my favorite. They also serve delicious mocktails, my favorite being their virgin mojito.

The main course at Barbeque Nation rohtas needed alot of improvement. The variety is good, unique dishes are introduced for this Festival like prawn curry, fish in chefs special sauce, Naram Dil kofta curry, corn and peas bobootie, but the taste of the dishes were average. Food quality was good but taste needs improvement. The Chinese was good than the Indian main course for both veg and non veg.

There were some amazing desserts as well like Gooey brownie and flavoured kulfi. Apart from those desserts I felt the desserts could have been better in presentation and taste. And since it was a special food festival some unique desserts could have been introduced.

I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my moms birthday at Barbeque Nation and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, the experience was truly exceptional.

not that great u get everything here which a barbeque nation has but few things here add to a disappointing experience of mine. Food was okay all the items were served but it lacked the freshness somehow. Not tht great in taste and luks like it has been made a long back ago not freshly prepared. Cold desserts like icecream and kulfi were like i m just having water. No cream taste was there. Also varieties in icecream was only one not even two. The staff is limited and incompetent. Everytime u have to remind them that u asked them to bring this, and if they remember they take too much time. maybe becoz the staff strength is less and in peak hours they get hell occupied. Once an item finishes in the buffet, it takes so much time bring it back again like breads, curries etc. There was shortage of spoons and bowls lol when happened to go to the main course section, and it came so late and after so much of effort to tell the staff to fill them up again. also, there is a bar underneath the restaurant so, continous bumping sound of DJ. Again, some may like it or some may not but if u r with ur family then u want a nice peaceful dinner not a DJ banging sound and having dinner . Why can't they have more than two flavours of CAKE.
